The dog in front of Kore suddenly disappeared in a light that would eventually form into an egg. If you look at the egg, it definitely seemed like there was something big in it. It was just so small and light enough so Kore could carry it in one hand. As Kore did so and picked up the egg, another message from the system appeared.
[Elemental Skill "Reborn" Used]
[The feeling of revenge got implanted in the egg]
[The feeling of wrath got implanted in the egg]
[15% hatching finished]
When Kore saw these messages, he knew he and the dog would become good friends once it hatched. They are both angry and want to get revenge on the person who killed them. It also seemed like their shared feelings boosted the speed of how long it would take for the egg to hatch. He knew it was that way because after waiting for a bit, the percentage of the egg hatching didn't move at all.
Once Kore returned to his room with the egg, he was greeted by his two roommates, who were playing cards together. "Yo, Kore. Do you want to t-" Zyn paused. "What's with that dinosaur egg?" "He Hehe," Kore laughed nervously while scratching the back of his head. "You could say I got it from that arson guy from yesterday."
"You mean Turb?" Leo asked, yawning while not looking at Kore. "You should keep your distance from him." Once he asks you for a favor and you don't do it, for whatever reason, he beats you up. "
"Is that why he wanted to hit you yesterday?" Kore asked. "What did he want?"
"Yesterday my ability to think was a little bit low. If it hadn't been for that, I would never have wanted to see Turb. " Leo replied. My family is full of tinkerers who have a sleep element. The thing he wanted was an artifact that got handed down over the generations in our family. Of course, I would never give it to someone like him, as it is a pillow that generates a dream in which you can actually train. He probably wanted to use it if there were any tests, so he is able to learn while sleeping. "
After thinking some time about what Leo just explained to him, it definitely sounded like a powerful weapon. It appeared at first to be useless, but if a normal person sleeps 8 hours a day, he could spend these 8 hours training whatever they wanted. If a swordsman trained the whole day, he still needed sleep. With that pillow that wasn't there anymore. Or at least he would still be able to train while sleeping. Of course it would probably be boring, but especially for Leo's family, it is perfect, as he said his family was full of tinkerers. They couldn't build stuff but plan for it, so they were able to actually do the work while being awake.
"Do you happen to have that artifact here?" Kore asked, trying to keep his excitement in.
"No. I forgot it at home, "Leo replied." "It would have made the academy so much easier."
Kore sighed in disappointment as he wanted to find out if he could experiment a bit with the system.
Six days later
It was the first day of the academy, and the three roommates headed out together. The sleepy Kore, who couldn't sleep from excitement last night, The even sleepier Leo, who hasn't slept for the last 3 days. That wasn't because he was excited, but because he had some work to do late at night. And last but not least, the happy Zyn, who slept like a baby last night and went to bed early so he would look good tomorrow,
The three of them luckily shared the same classroom. After some time, a boy with red hair also appeared. It was none other than Turb. He looked at Kore with a big smile as he sat down and chatted with his friends.
[The egg feels the need to attack]
[25% hatching finished]
Of course, Kore took the egg with him, as the description of the Reborn skill said he needed to take care of the egg. Doing that would take a very long time as it has only increased by 5% in the last 6 days. Now because the egg wants to attack Turb, it got another 5% added. The thing needed for hatching the egg wasn't really just taking care of it but more like raising it. If Kore were to be around Turb all day, the egg would be filled with thoughts of killing him. If Kore would just continue pattiing the egg, it would have its thoughts filled with getting patted by Kore.
After Kore snapped out of his thoughts, a familiar teacher got into the room. It was Jey Dreos. "Attention, everybody!" Professor Dreos screamed through the room to get everybody's attention while flexing his muscles. You all should probably have seen me before, but I will repeat myself. My name is Jey Dreos and I'm your homeroom teacher. Now if everyone would be so kind to introduce themselves and if they want to tell everyone their element,
One after another, everyone introduced themselves. There were the familiar sleep and mirror elements, but also a few new ones. There was a lightning element, a color element, a wool element and a whole lot more.
When Kore was the last one to introduce himself, he stood up and spoke. "The name is Kore Gerus. "Nice to meet you." Kore sat himself down as the only person not to tell everyone his element.
