Not long after she heard the door knob clicking. She abruptly covered her face and hid under the pillow. She was thinking that it was Daerin and as much as she was annoyed at him. She was also scared. The pain in her arms where Daerin held her was still hurting.
She didn't know at that moment what she should feel. Daerin didn't only hurt her emotionally, he hurt her physically as well. Although, she also admitted to herself that it was partly her fault that Daerin did what he did.
