Chapter 24 - Chapter 23

First, I break the eggs and put them in a bowl. Then I cut onions in horrible shape. But it was okay. I add the spices now. And mix them as well as I can.

The first one went waste but I was smart. I used extra eggs.

Finally, I get three omelets ready. And toast that I hope they would prefer with jam rather than omelets.

"The kitchen in mess." Is the first thing I hear from them.

"Not more than me." I mumble but no one hears. Thank god for it.

"I'll miss you, Sammy." I say sadly.

Sam was going to his grandma's. I'd miss him so much.

"Me too." He says zipping his bag. "But you can't avoid it. We'll have to live with the distance."

I chuckle. Mr.Oberoi gives out a small smile. He looked tired too. Summers must be lonely for him. He didn't have summer holidays like us. Being a grown up was such a chore.

"Okay, Sammy. I'll try not to miss you." I say pinching his cheeks.

"That's inevitable." He says trying to lift his bag. He puts it down and looks at Vihaan. Vihaan picks it up easily.

After he is gone, I walk in back with Vihaan. Not even halfway i to the house, I'm already pinned to the wall. His eyes are very different from what they were moments ago.

"It's just us now." He almost whispers. He was trying hard to not gobble me.

I nod.

His hands go to my waist and I am pulled towards him. There is no space for even air.

Our mouths clash. I kiss back with the same energy that he does. Soon the tongues are involved. Our tongues fight for dominance. My hands clutch his broad, ocean like shoulders. His stay on my hips, gripping it hard.

Soon his kisses go from my lips to my cheek and all over my face. Every kiss is feather like. His face is now burried into my neck as he takes bites.

They keep going down and down. His hand cups my left breast. He lifts his head to see my reaction. I'm a mess for now.

But then he stops.

"What? Why?" I ask as he takes a step back.

"I told you I don't have sex. I make love." He shrugs.

I roll my eyes. "Jerk." I say loud enough for him to hear it.

"You had one night and you decided to follow your principles. Fine then." I say irritated.

"What do you mean by that?" He asks.

I shrug like it was no big deal. "I'm going home for holidays. I need to talk to my mom."

"Are you sure?" He walks towards the couch. I follow.

"Yeah I need to." I say.

"When will you introduce us?" He asks.

"I don't know." I sigh. "First I have to break the news to her. See how she reacts."

"Do you need me?" He asks.

"Not for now. I'll have to see how she'll react."

I switch on the television and put on a random movie. We fall asleep, cuddled.

When my eyes open it's two in the morning. I free myself from Vihaan who was all over me.

I tap on his shoulder. "Vihaan."

He stirs but doesn't wake up.

"Vihaan." I say a little louder.

He opens his eyes and closes them again.

Subconscious but he wakes up. I lead him to the room. After we're comfortable he goes back to sleep.

No longer than two minutes had passed he was all over me again.

I felt guilty for the thoughts I had now. Mom. She raised me. Not the perfect way but still it could be worse. I could be abandoned. She could turn to addictives. But she was still my mom.

I wanted her out of picture. She'd surely kill me for having a boyfriend.

I close my eyes and try to get some sleep. I count sheeps, have hundreds of imaginations. And finally I do sleep.

In the early morning, I quitely leave the house. I left Vihaan a text message. I didn't want to wake him up afterall.

Mira meets me at the bus stop. We hoard the bus and are on our way to home. The one with mom.
