Chapter 1 - The Beginning

1920

The martial arts tournament is always held in the midst of the full moon at the summit of the mountain, two men dressed in the outfits of martial arts competitors are battling at the moment. They appear as though they are demonstrating their defensive and skill abilities, when it comes to the combat sports that have been so popular with the masses at those times.

They have indisputably the same potential when it comes to that field, and none of them wants to give up or fall to the ground. As a consequence, their battle got more interesting, and enlivened the spirits of the spectators in that tournament. There were also a substantial percentage of people there at the time, and the main reason they came was to see Prince Aurelius, the eldest son of King Othello Alberici and Queen Priscilla Alice Alberici. He was one of the two competitors of such minute, and many people actually liked him because he was exceptionally attractive, intelligent, and proficient in martial arts; in fact, no one has ever beaten him in tournaments, and he is in his seventeenth rival at the moment.

He made this success seem impossible at an early age, yet you can't help but appreciate him when it comes to it. Because any woman will be captivated to him, and he is capable to satisfy the majority's living standards — unless a woman is searching for the nice man.

"Ryker is already weakening, and Prince Aurelius is on the verge of defeating him." After witnessing Prince Aurelius kick his opponent in the crotch with her own visual system, a lady said, that punch was inflicting his opponent unusual discomfort, causing him to touch the section of his body that Prince Aurelius punched ferociously.

"Just one kick Prince Aurelius! That's it!" a woman's shrill scream, who undoubtedly has all the support for the Prince at that moment. It seemed as if she was gratified with what Prince Aurelius had done to his adversary.

Ryker's grimace indicates that he wants to fight; he hasn't beaten in his entire existence, and he doesn't want to lose his reputation or his status if he loses, yet no matter what he does, even if he behaves valiantly, he will succumb. Despite this, he was unable to fight again since the effects of Prince Aurelius had left all over his body were too severe and agonizing.

"He was so skilled that he defeated Ryker! Even though Ryker has been performing martial arts for nearly two decades and Prince Aurelius is just half his age, he was capable of defeating him." A lady marveled as she saw Prince Aurelius' face, which was devoid of even a speck of perspiration, while his opponent, Ryker, was already writhing in anguish on the ground.

"Unbelievable..." Only words came out of Ryker's mouth as his team led him to be taken to the one facility to reduce the pain of his body.

Most people are aware that Prince Aurelius is skilled in martial arts, but they can not believe he is superior than the United Kingdom's so-called greatest in that field. His opponent, who has been in martial arts for more than twenty years and has a lot of expertise in this area, has been knocked to the ground by him in just two minutes.

When it was announced that he had won, all of the Prince's admirers rushed to his location, the women's grins was enlarging on their lips, even if they could just smell the natural fragrance of the royalty, they were already content. Since Ryker had also hit his body, his face could not be seen with any difficulty or suffering at that time, maybe he just does not want to express his vulnerability.

Everyone was applauding and congratulating Prince Aurelius on his triumph at the time, but instead of appreciating and acknowledging his supporters and savoring his success, he opted to leave the audience and leave the location. In his case, he had already accomplished his task, the competition was ended, he had already won, and he was satisfied with that; he also did not want to be the focus of other people's attention.

He promptly drifted away that location throughout his Locomobile, and he was already a considerable distance from the tournament area when he heard some familiar sound of a vehicles. Prince Aurelius just let out a deep sigh, for even if he did not even look around, he would have known straight away who pursues him, his parents' security team, which is assigned to accompany him everywhere he goes.

He could see the magnificent and expansive palace where they were staying in the distance a few moments later. He could not really comprehend why he felt so heavy at those instances, and he don't even know or understand why.

Aure Chantria, his younger sister, appeared in front of Buckingham Palace as soon as he stepped out of his Locomobile. The woman's lips were broad with a wide smile, indicating that she recieved a pleasant news, she's eighteen years old, while her elder brother, Prince Aurelius, was twenty-five years old. Aure Chantria is close to her elder brother, despite the fact that his mind is usually wandering on the other side of the planet sometimes whe she's talking with him, as they are the only two children of the royal couple. Aure was a kind child, and her benevolence was most likely acquired from her mother, who had a pure heart and could detect sincerity in every utterance.

"Aurelius!" When her sister greeted her enthusiastically, Aurelius came to a halt and stared at her, dumbfounded. Chantria never came out of her room occasionally, and she usually only read books or listened to the news on the radio, but with his brother's contrast, he appears to be weird.

The woman only leaves her room to mingle when there is an important event taking place outside the palace, which has been their home for a long time.

"I am not in a good frame of mind, Aure." Chantria had planned to speak to convey what she wanted to say, but she was unable to do so until Aurelius began to speak, his voice is in solemn. Chantria had envisioned her brother telling her this the moment they met, because all he ever wanted was to be alone, and it moreover dislikes those who are loud and has chaotic behavior.

For her, her bother just excuses himself as not being in the mood, and others who had intended to speak with him no longer being able to do so because, well, perhaps out of dread, if you can only speak with Aurelius directly, you will undoubtedly be terrified.

"I don't want to interrupt you, therefore I'd want to greet you. I can't believe you defeated Ryker; I know you are a tough competitor, but I don't think you will be strong enough to beat him. I became your proudest sister all of a sudden." Chantria gave reason fo her elder brother to glance at her again right away, as if she did not really believe the knowledge would come to him so swiftly.

"Because you are an Alberici and, more crucial — a prince, everyone knows everything you do. Even our shit will be publicized." She spoke it earnestly, but you can hear Chantria's feeble giggle as she finished the last line she said. For some inexplicable reason, Aurelius only shook his head, as though he did not think of anything to say in response to some of what his sister remarked.

Afterwards, Aurelius intended to turn around rather than communicate to her sister, he wants to enter the palace, but he came to a halt when he heard a familiar voice, prompting him to turn around and go back to where Chantria was.

"I am pleased to receive the news I got, that you were able to defeat our world's leading industrial martial arts champion. You have no idea how thrilled I am to witness my son pursuing his dreams with all of his brilliance and perseverance. It is incredible because then you can do it even if you are already a prince, and you always compete with our surname on your behalf—" When her son abruptly interrupted abruptly what she intended to tell or at least say, Priscilla Alice Alberici, the Queen of the United Kingdom, was unable to continue her sentence.

"I have been in this field for almost seven years, and in the seventeen battles I have participated in, I have never lost a championship, and I have never gone home a loser. I do not win because I am an Alberici; otherwise, It is because of me. I was victorious owing to my fortitude and toughness, and keep in mind that it is not because of the blood on my wrists or because of my background." His voice was filled with an incomprehensible hatred, even the dispassionate expression he wore all the time would suddenly be viewed with rage.

Chantria was taken aback when he stated those things, and she glanced at him in disbelief.

"You misinterpreted, son; all I am saying is that—"

"I need to get some rest; I don't have time for such arguments." At once more, Aurelius broke short what his mother was about to say, and the second attempt, he was ready to leave when he heard his father's shrill and loud voice.

"We did not teach you to be nasty and arrogant, Aurelius, and you should also not respond to your mother like way; everything she says is for your betterment." Voice of Othello Alberici, he is the king of the United Kingdom and son of the former queen of their area.

As he preaches to his son, his voice has a hint of strictness but also of tenderness. After a time, Queen Priscilla grasped her arm, indicating that she was putting an end to the situation since she did not want things to grow further.

"We go to great lengths, Aurelius, to ensure that you have a comfortable existence. That's because I love both of you." Queen Priscilla was in tears because of what was happening today, as King Othello remarked again. The Queen does not want any conflict in her family since she is always the one who suffers more than any other at the time that happens.

"However, we do not seek a comfortable life, and don't say that you love us; in fact, you just care about the folks in your town, right?" Aurelius responded promptly, his eyes fixed on his father, who had no idea what to say in response to what he had spoken. He also appeared to be considering what his son had said. Queen Priscilla, who had been nervous and emotional previously, had no idea how to behave to what her son had said.

"Aurelius!" Chantria instantaneously shouted to her elder brother, indicating that, based on her parents' reaction, she did not really appreciate what Aurelius was doing.

The little girl was even able to work to prevent a quarrel between her parents and her brother from worsening. She could not really stop sobbing as she guarded the center, since she knew they are not really like that before, that they were happy, that they weren't like this. Which is why, when their parents got busy and weren't paying attention as much as they used to, the wind shifted. She could not blame her elder brother for being angry with their parents because they had abruptly changed and lacked time with their family.

"They need attention and guidance, and I am confident that I am one of those who can provide it. I can't let them go, Aurelius. I care about our community, and I can't afford to neglect individuals who call out my name in times of need. I hope you can understand what your mother and I are saying." King Orthello explains calmly, his eyes begging as if he wants his son to understand him because he can't help but feel pained as a father and a parent when he sees him avoids and hates him.

Aurelius burst into laughter, as if his father had said something humorous that made him laugh lightly.

"Presumably, whatever attention you pay to other people, you also pay equal attention to us. We are also your children, and we want to be treated as if we were a country, as you claim." Aurelius addressed it and then walked away, still resentful of the circumstance.

Chantria and her parents were stunned dumbfounded by his statements.
