Cataleya still heard the hollered of orders here and there before everything turned silent. In pounding chest, Cataleya looked up to her father, wanting to confirm if such quietness was in their favor. Instead of having her answers, the marquis eyes were alert on the outside.
"What is it?" She asked nervously, so fed up with the suspense. Her heart lurched out on her throat when the marquis readied his own weapon.
"Prepare your gun." The Marquis ordered and Cataleya took heed immediately.
"What happened?" Cataleya asked again.
"The enemies mages and our men got petrified." The marquis grabbed the door and got out.
Cataleya knew that she wasn't allowed to go out but if the men were petrified, then, they'd become vulnerable targets. As her feet hit the ground, she was quick to point her gun on one man who was about to shoot an arrow to a knight who was unmoving on his spot.
