Eloise's POV:
After I got off work and walked into the house, I told Chloe what had happened, and she cried out in surprise, too. I believed she was as shocked as I was.
After all, she and I had the same experience with that woman.
"What do you mean she followed us here? Why is she here? I don't understand it at all!" She almost grabbed her hair.
"Why is this happening? Is she implying that I should leave this place? But Moon Goddess! I just got promoted!"
I sighed helplessly and drank a glass of water, trying to calm myself down.
Back then, we didn't know Page very well, but she was always following Atticus around. Back then, we had no choice but to pay attention to her.
However, our attention wasn't just on her because she was with Atticus. There was something else.
She was so concerned about us as if we could affect her life. But in fact, no one wanted to compete with her for anything. Only she imagined us as her enemies.
