"Look, to some people, you're like a miser." My wolf laughed madly.
I ignored him and focused on what Eloise said.
Why did you think that I came here for this? Did she not see what I did for her before?
Perhaps she was just a woman who was challenging to communicate with.
Thinking of this, I was so sad that I couldn't breathe. However, I still maintained a calm expression as I looked at her.
She had brought this upon herself. She didn't deserve any sympathy. This must be it.
"If that's how you view me, then I can only say that you're very wrong." I tried my best to remain calm.
"I told you this would happen." My wolf was laughing.
"Soren's right. She doesn't trust you that much anymore. So you have to be careful no matter what I do with you. You'll have to put in much effort to get her to regain her feelings for you."
