Chereads / Alpha Queen: the Gifted One / Chapter 21 - The Three Queens

Chapter 21 - The Three Queens

Mark's father was last to name their little girl, whose name got praised by the pack as the name he had chosen for the daughter seemed almost applauding; Peace. If the War queen was supposed to bring peace during wars, then she should bare a name to match her title.

What made them believe it was among the three girls that the leader was to be chosen from, was that when they were born, the full moon birthed another full one and so there were two moons joined together.

And the Moons glimmered throughout their delivery.  That became the talk among werewolves and other creatures even after they had grown up.

These girls never had it easy. They had to be academically excellent and physically as well; every aspect of their lives had to be fairly perfect.

From their birth, It was already put in the book; that Peace was going to be the Gamma of the  Ace pack. Serena was to be the Beta, and Judith, the Alpha for the Hilltop pack.

Even though all three were good enough to be the selected one and chosen one,  they all couldn't help but notice one of them, more.

One was more daring than the two.  That was when the other prophecy of her being tied to the  Hilltop's throne, came.

They all needed no one to affirm that the prophecies were for Judith.

At the time, her dad had been conflicted, as the other Alphas demanded he handed over the leadership to his Gamma's son: to make the Gamma's son the Alpha so the girls could assist him- to avoid the prophecy.

Serena had no royal routes but because she was also born the same day as the Alpha's daughter and on the glorious day, she was given the title of a Beta.

A few days later, it was made clear who the war queen was. Not that it came as a surprise. They knew Judith was going to be the chosen one, especially when her father, the Alpha went ahead to crown her as the next Alpha, ignoring their cries.

Judith, growing up, already bore herself like a queen and whenever they went running, she'd outran even the male Alphas.

The women and men did not exercise together but considering Judith being the chosen one, she fought her way into exercising with the would-be Alphas.

She was one after all.

Not only was she a female, but she was also the youngest among all the would-be Alphas.

She wasn't the first to start a fight but she was certainly not going to let anyone win, no matter who you were or would-be.

She was also seen as playful and undignified, which only made the other packs mad about the prophecy. How could someone as that become the queen of all leaders?

That was her attempt to cope with the burden placed on her shoulders, yet everyone had negative opinions about her.

Even so, Judith was fearless but so were the other girls.

Serena was the less brutal among the three of them.

She sometimes hated the fact she had to be brought up as a warrior. She always envied the other girls born before and after them; they had the choice to choose what they wanted to be.

Whereas those born during the time of the prophecy had no choice.  Especially the three of them.

When it was raining, the others were only seen in the rain, playing. On the other hand, they were training endlessly in the rain.

She detested having to put in more training than the other female warriors. Her push-up count must have been about forty if the other female fighters were performing twenty. Just because she was the next Beta.

While Judith, on the other hand, was scurrying around engaging in conflicts to which she was not invited, challenging authority figures and knocking others to the ground.

And when they had to fight at the end of the day, Judith always prevailed because she was the war god's favorite.

Serena hated that.
