Chapter 20 - Brown Eye Girl

Shawn immediately got out of the car and approached the body of the girl who fell in front of his car and then he squatted down while checking the girl's condition.

When he saw a blue stone necklace around her neck, Shawn's hand moved to touch it.

However, he failed when he saw her pale cheeks and cold skin under his palms.

Shawn's hands then moved to remove the denim jacket he was wearing and then put it on the girl's body.

Although not covered all, but, not bad enough to cover the upper body to the groin. At least this girl wasn't too cold anymore.

Shawn then stood up and opened the passenger door then turned around to carry the girl and sat her in the seat next to him.

The girl's eyes were still closed with a regular rhythm of chest movement.

With a half run Shawn circled the car then sat behind the wheel. The boy drove the car with occasional glances at the girl next to him. Dividing concentration between roads with the girl along the way.

This was a little strange, because Shawn had never felt this way before.

Which for some reason saw it, Shawn felt something.

It's the same as that night. It was a feeling he didn't understand at all. A feeling he couldn't stand.

Until unconsciously, Shawn's hand reached out to touch the girl's cheek. Tidy a few strands of hair that cover her beautiful face.

Somehow, this feels... soothing? Or fun? I don't know, Shawn doesn't know either. All he knew, when the corners of his lips began to lift upwards, the girl's eyelids opened. Showing dazzling brown eyes.

Shawn hastily withdrew his hand as the girl's body inched away with her gaze still on Shawn.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to mess with you. I was just tidying up... uhm... I mean, you got a little smudge on your cheek." Shawn's words fell apart. It is not good. Since when did Shawn get nervous just because of a girl he just met.

Shawn thought she was going to cry or something, when he saw a faint smile forming on her lips.

Hey, that's so cute. If only she smiled wider. Gosh, why did he expect such a strange thing?

"Are you okay?" Shawn then asked.

The girl smiled faintly and Shawn thought it meant she wasn't mad at him, so Shawn decided to start asking some questions that had been bothering him for a while.

Shawn saw the girl suddenly shook her head.

"This..." he said, her fingers touching the jacket Shawn had previously put on.

"That's my jacket," Shawn explained, "your performance was quite a faith shake. So I thought, better than better." Even though Shawn actually didn't mind if the girl was without clothes. The last sentence, of course, Shawn said in his heart.

The girl looked blushed. Averting her gaze from Shawn. It looks a little cute. Look, what his brain just thought about that girl. Why is he suddenly like this?

Just then, Shawn's car rang. Girl is shocked. Her shoulders jumped slightly in shock.

Shawn then looked at his car's fuel indicator. Sure enough, the gas is almost out.

"My car's gas is running low so the reminder goes off," Shawn said as he turned off the reminder, "So you don't have to be afraid. Oh yeah, there's a gas station up ahead. So, we'll stop there to refuel."

The girl nodded.

Shortly after, they entered the refueling area. There were two cars in the queue until it was their turn.

"Wait a minute," Shawn said as he got out of the car, "Uh, or do you want something? There's a shop over there." Shawn asked again.

The girl shook her head.

Shawn was silent for a moment as he looked at the girl, "Okay then," he said then.

Shawn then got out of the car and refueled. While waiting for the gas to be full, Shawn's gaze scanned the area.

Until then his eyes saw a shop he needed. There was no other queue of cars behind him.

After filling up with gas, Shawn ran to the shop across the street. Soon he came back out and stopped at the shop in the gas station area. He bought some bread and snacks and bottled drinks.

"Twenty dollars in all," the cashier said.

Shawn took out the stated amount, "Thank you," he then said as he carried the bag of goods out of the shop.

"Sorry, I took too long huh?" Shawn asked when he got behind the wheel.

The girl just smiled.

Shawn took out the contents of one of the bags he was carrying.

"This is for you." He gave a t-shirt and shorts that are usually used as souvenirs by domestic tourists who happened to be passing by.

"You can use it in the toilet over there." Shawn pointed to the toilet he had seen on the left side of the building.

The girl shook her head, "No. I'll just wear it here."

"What? Eh, wait..." Shawn didn't have time to finish his sentence when the girl immediately took off the denim jacket that was previously worn leaving her body wearing nothing.

Shawn who saw that immediately turned his face to the side, "Ah, how can a girl like you be able to casually undress in front of an unknown guy like myself," he muttered quietly, "Luckily I'm a good guy," he complained. again.

"Are you done?" Shawn then asked.

There was a reply, "Yes."

"Ah, it's you..." Shawn whispered, "But thank goodness it's the right size. The clothes fit your body."

"Yes."

"Are you hungry? I bought some bread earlier," Shawn offered.

However, the girl shook her head. Shawn put the bag back on the side and started to drive the car back down the road.

"Oh yeah, may I know, how did you get there? I mean because the place where you appeared earlier was a deserted place. Could it be that your vehicle broke down? Or is there some bad guy chasing you?" Shawn broke the silence that had stretched for a while.

It sounded like Shawn was too curious to ask a series of questions. But, it was the truth, Shawn was curious. Because it's not every day he meets a naked girl who faints in front of his car.

The girl turned back to him. Shawn glanced at her briefly and found the look of the night back in her eyes with the same look.

When Shawn noticed that there was fog there, the girl hastily blinked her eyes before throwing it out into the street.

Shawn sighed, thinking she wouldn't answer, when suddenly she said, "I chose to follow my heart." the girl turned, looked at Shawn long with her two beautiful brown beads. Ah, the girl did it again.

Shawn was too focused on that gaze when suddenly someone came running onto the highway and it was right in front of his speeding car.
