'Why did I promise him such a thing?' Anna asked herself while eating. Lexus simply looked so sullen that she ended up soothing him. And now he was smiling weirdly once again.
'With how beastly he was, he would surely want to do it. He would be my husband anyway. Might as well enjoy having a hot stud for a husband,' Anna thought as she had more mouthfuls of the food he made.
'Mmm. These are truly delicious. Why is CEO such a good cook?'
Anna easily got distracted by the food and focused on it.
"Would I get to enjoy these meals every day when you are my husband?" she inquired.
"Of course! I'll cook for you every day," Lexus assured her.
"Liar. Wouldn't you be busy with work? Does a CEO have so much free time that you can cook for me daily?" she raised a brow. She better not get promises that were sure to be broken anyway.
