Lexus watched Anna choose from the wedding magazines he brought. She looked disinterested in choosing a wedding dress last time he asked so he asked his assistant to acquire those.
He was relieved that she was seriously choosing what to wear. Her belly was not yet noticeable so she could still pick as she pleased.
A shiver ran down his back when he recalled how she asked if they could just register the marriage. She was thinking of the ceremony as a hassle. His chest hurt so much at those words that she uttered so nonchalantly.
They were getting married so soon because she was pregnant. And if he was, to be honest, he no longer wanted to let her go a second time. But no matter what the reason was, the marriage was real. He was sincere when he promised that he would do his best to be a good husband.
And yet, she keeps on rejecting him. She doesn't want to open up. She always sighed once she sees him. He was a burden to her.
