"Huh?" A resounding sound of confusion came out of Cailean as she was too stunned by the Alpha's question, "A date? You could have asked a lot of people to ask for a date. Why me?"
"Well," Alpha Conri traveled his eyes and refused to look her in the eyes, "I don't know anyone else but you."
"What kind of reasoning is that?" She blurted out loud, "That is not a reason at all, Alpha. You could have at least known one or two females other than me to take you on a date."
"You're right, I should have known other people other than you," Alpha Conri reasoned with her, trying not to lose his patience immediately, "Besides, I have another reason for inviting you."
