Meanwhile, Beta Farkas has reached the end of the woods and he could see the smoke coming off from Cailean and Leikos' home. He is not used to seeing such small and simple homes in the middle of the woods, for the Beta is used to the big and shining places like in the castle with Alpha Conri by his side.
He could not hear anything except for the sound of his breath getting deeper at every step and the noises from the crickets and the singing birds in the early morning. He wandered around, looking at nature playing its song in his ears.
"This must be how Cailean hones her abilities," he said to himself and continued marching on.
When the house is getting nearer by the distance, Beta Farkas could also see a woman dressed in all black, and her golden-brown hair made him squint his eyes, for he does not know who this woman is talking to Leikos lightly.
He hid behind a nearby tree and waited for them to finish, and the Beta could hear vague words coming from them.
