The wailing sirens of the cops van echoed across the city as they approached the crime scene, the van pulled up at the parking lot as the four kids who were pacing anxiously stopped at their track and looked in their direction, the cops came down out of their van and walked over to the kids.
The kids took one of them inside to the dead body to inspect it, while the other stayed to interrogate the remaining three kids that were left at the scene.
The tall dark skinned cop heard his partner called his name, inside the building where he went to inspect the body. He quickly left the witness he was interrogating and went inside the mansion to meet his partner. As soon as he got to the scene he met his partner a few meters just before the body that was lying lifelessly on the floor with his hand akimbo and the other on his mouth with a worried expression. He walked over to the body after he had gotten a 'go ahead' nod from his partner.
He walked out of the mansion with his partner and the kids, and took his walkie talkie.
"Need backup, this is something I have never seen before, over." he said as he dropped his walkie talkie and rested his body on the van, thinking of what possible being could murdered someone like that, in the middle of a party, without anybody seeing the murderer.
Few minutes later, lots of police vans pulled up at the garage of the mansion with the ambulance. They all get down from their various van and proceeds in inspecting the scene and taking pictures, they looked around to check if they can see any evidence to apprehends the person behind the gruesome murder.

The next morning, the cops embarked on a journey to Wales High School to interview the student present at the party the day before.
"This is Tom" the tall dark skinned police officer of yesterday said on his phone as soon as he picked up the call that came through his line.
"Are you perhaps close to the central mall?" The caller asked on the phone
"Yeah we just passed a few minutes ago, any problem?" He asked the caller who is also his colleagues at work.
"Backup is needed at the central Mall" the caller said
"Okay" he said as be dropped the phone after hanging up
"Who is that?" His partner who has been driving asked as soon as he dropped his call
"Make a u-turn, back up needed at the central mall" he answered him and he nodded his head.

Chloe's pov…
The school bell rang for the last time today, as students trooped out of their various classrooms to their locker rooms.
I, Cassie and Brian walked out of the class rooms, after yesterday's event they have been murmuring in the school 'about Cameile's death we weren't taught much today, 'cos of the death, everybody is still traumatized of the death, Mike and his friends weren't on school today.
I didn't sleep a wink yesternight, I keep thinking about the death. How can I see it all even before it happens, it's really scary.
My books slipped down as soon as I opened my locker, I bent to pick it up when I noticed a number on it, "13" I involuntarily read it out.
"Sorry about that" a guy who was leaving on his way to his locker and as probably saw as my books fell said. As soon as he walked past me the number 13 was written on the back of the shirt he was putting on.
I looked to my left to see Kyle leaving after he had closed his locker shut, 13 was also imprinted on his face cap. I stare at his back until he is out of sight.
The High-pitched ringing began and I clasped my ears together with my palms with my head bent as I groaned in pain, flashes of the image I saw yesterday came back, the body! The blood! The crying! I can see them all! The screaming of Laura!
"Are you okay!?" I heard faintly instantly the flashes stopped and I looked up, reliving my palms from my ear to see the person talking to me.
"Cassie" I called
"Hey are you okay? Your ear is bleeding again" she said as she stretched her handkerchief to clean up the blood.
Again? She must have seen it bleed yesterday even though I hid it well.
"I'm fine" I answered as soon as she stopped cleaning the blood, I clumsily picked up the book that fell earlier, she quickly stoops low to help me with the books
"Let me help you" she said with her head low as she helped me arrange the books. When I caught sight of her necklace dangling on her neck with number 13 on the pendant, the ringing came again with a slight headache, as I winced lowly.
"Here" she said, handing me the note and the ringing stopped again.
I took it from her and put it in my locker, I stuffed my back pack with the necessary books I will be needing at home and closed my locker shut.

As soon as she locked the locker they both began walking out of the hallway to the parking lot.
Cassie stared at Chloe back closely trying to figure out what was wrong with her. She has been acting weird since yesterday's incident, she has been talking less too, always snapping out every minute, is she manifesting yet? She thought
"Gosh! Where is Sarah, we really need to talk" she murmured
Chloe instinctively checked her wrist watch 13:00 pm it says, and her heart thumped.
"Over here, Chloe" she heard her mum's voice as soon as she checked the time.
"Guess your ride is here" Cassie said as She and Cassie both walked over to her mum
"You never said you are coming to get me" she said to her mum
"Is that how to greet your mum?" Her mum asked instead
"Hello there sweet Cassie" she answered Cassie who just greeted her.
"I'm fine," Cassie answered as soon as Sandra had asked her.
"Well, one of my Colleague's daughters died yesterday, so we were relieved of our work" she explained.
"Now get in girls, I've been waiting here for an hour now" she said as she get behind the wheels
"I won't be going with you, my mum will soon be here to pick me up" Cassie excused herself
"Oh, okay, say hi to your mum for me as she revved her car engine to life and drove out of the school premises. After a few minutes of driving.
"We need to get some stuff at the Mall," she said as she swerved in the direction of the Mall. They heard series of police sirens wailing as they got closer to the Mall
"What the hell happened here" Sandra exclaimed jolting Chloe out of her thoughts as she looks for a space she could parked her car, they both alighted from the car and rushed to the scenes, Chloe rushed to see the body that is being rolled on the stretcher and rushed to the ambulance van. She covered her mouth as tears slipped from her eyes and retraced her steps slowly then turned around to leave when she collided to a wide manly chest, his Cologne filled her nostrils, she slowly looked up to see who it was, with tears on her face.
"Kyle?" She called.

Laura's pov…
I stayed behind mum as she struggled to get me some milk at the top of the counter, I don't blame her for being so short. I walked around the sections as I went back to the big teddy, I told mum to get me a few minutes ago and she said no.
I was admiring the teddy when I heard a little baby cry. I walked over to the baby who was in a stroller and pet him, he stopped crying that moment and giggled.
"So cute" the mother said to me and looked I up at the tall mama, if mother is as tall as her, she wouldn't have had any problem in getting that milk
"Thank you" I answered her as I clutch on the teddy
"Where is your Mum?" She asked as she ruffled my hair
"She is over there" I said pointing to the section she was
"Take, to pay for your Teddy, and say hi to mum for me" she said handing me a 100dollar note
"Thank you'' I said as I ran to meet mum with my teddy excitedly, but she wasn't there and I got scared, so I started searching for her.
"Laura" I heard someone whispered my name behind my ear, and I looked back to meet a uncle with a glowing red eyes in a hoodie and bend down to my height
"Did you see mother?" I asked frightened by his eyes
"Why?, why did you wandered of making your Mother worried of you" he said slowly
"I'm sorry, I won't do that again" I said as I clutched my teddy tightly at my chest
"Don't say sorry, come, and let me take your pain away from you" he said and I was scared and I tried running away from the bad uncle.
"Not so fast, darling Laura" he said as I got rooted at that spot, I tried moving but I couldn't.
My whole body shivered violently as my knee snapped, I made a loud cry as all the bone joints in my body snapped. I was silenced as soon as my neck snapped and my body dropped to the ground.
