He spat out a mouthful of thick blood, his face quickly turning ashen.
His body was not particularly strong. His ability to use tactics like Guardian Beast Co-operation relied entirely on the special nature of his weapon-beasts and his own martial skills.
Despite possessing the Black Cloud Stick, comparable to Monarch Power - Monarch species, he was not a Beast Tamer who conducted co-operative combat. Thus, when facing two Monarch Power - Emperor species, he still appeared powerless.
Xing Yun's eyes held traces of anger and intense distress.
Dying here didn't matter to him.
But he couldn't let any team member perish here!
