Chapter 34 - Emblem of Origin

I stared at the manifestation of my emblem and couldn't help but just stare. The stare wasn't in surprise or confusion or anything of the sort, it was more of curiosity more than anything.

The manifestation of my emblem wasn't a katana, ring, or even a mist of darkness. The manifestation...was me. It was an exact replica of me, from the ninja suit I wore on the way to the academy, to my mannerisms, to every detail of my features, the manifestation was a perfect replica. But when I took a look closer I noticed a staggering difference in my manifestation...the eyes.

Instead of vertical slits, what was in place of my pupils were abyssal runes that I was able to understand as soon as I laid eyes on them. They translated to the word Origin, but before I could try to investigate, my emblem broke down into abyssal arcana and launched straight towards my eyes.

I couldn't even muster a defense in time as I felt abyssal arcana flow through my eyes, it didn't hurt at all, in fact, other than me feeling the flow of the abyssal arcana flowing through my eyes I wouldn't even know it was happening. After a while, the flowing stopped and I felt as if something in my eyes had been unlocked, but as soon as the feeling stopped I was sent out of my soul and opened my eyes to see I was back in the dojo.

I looked around and saw that everyone else still had their eyes closed still in concentration on awakening their emblem. Thanks to me reaching the Realm of Dao with my Dao of Time I was able to tell how much time has passed since we were sent to awaken our emblems and I was shocked that only twenty seconds had passed as in my soul it felt like minutes.

"Abyssal Demons are way too terrifying. Their talent, foundation, and soul are unmatched. I'm actually glad that I made the bloodline my wish, I was close to requesting a peak arch-angel bloodline and then I would find a way to fall but this is just as good if not better."

I stood up from my corner and walked towards the front of the dojo where Ms.Su was standing keeping watch of everyone, she landed her gaze on me and gave me a look of surprise and shock. Well, I couldn't blame her as it literally took me twenty seconds to awaken my emblem, even the potion shouldn't be able to awaken one that fast since the potion only increases the chance of awakening one to the point where it is a guarantee you'll awaken your emblem. The fact that it took me twenty seconds pretty much told her dead in her face that I didn't need the elixir, shit, she's probably asking why I didn't awaken it before class.

While I wanted to and was sure it wouldn't take me a long time I expected it would take one to three minutes at most not twenty fucking seconds, and this was adding the fact that I didn't use the elixir at all. The more time passed the more I realized how fucking broken these pricks were, no wonder only fallen, angels and devils could compete with them. These advantages were too overwhelming, I almost felt pity for the people in this class...almost.

I walked and stood next to her as I leaned on the desk as I looked ahead to stare at the rest.

"Your talent is monstrous for you to awaken your emblem in such a short amount of time. As expected from the strongest of the Seven Blessed from Heaven. Where is your emblem placed?" she nonchalantly with a smile as if what she said was not breaking news to her.

"What makes you think that I am the strongest? I have yet to fight anybody and my cultivation is still unknown. Besides I must give credit to the elixir, it was more of a help than I could have imagined. Also, aren't you going to make all the emblem users spar after you give us our circles? Why spoil the surprise?"

She smiled and shook her head "That is true. Also, about you being the strongest I don't think, I know. You can fool all these other geniuses but you can't fool me. I can now understand why 'she' is very interested in you Hakari, it seems I am as well it seems." she answered. I was sure that the 'she' Ms.Su was talking about was Principal Irani which now begs the question, was the interest first garnered by the principal or the empress?

Shaking my head I decided to tease this teacher who thought she had one up on me. "Should I now expect special favors and rewards?" I asked with a leading smile as I turned to look at her reaction.

She rolled her eyes and scoffed as she responded "Just you? You are still a fourteen-year-old virgin who is still wet behind the ears. You think you could handle a woman like me? You'd probably cum upon insertion."

"Oh, word? Bend over the table then. I'll cast an illusion around us so no one will notice. Just don't get mad or embarrassed if you start moaning my name like a slut in heat from my touches alone." I chuckled, startling the shit out of her.

She stared at me for a moment before she walked towards me and grabbed my chin and slowly caressed my cheek with her thumb and lifted it and stared at me with her hazel eyes that for some reason made me pay absolute attention. "Bold and confident, at such a young age as well, I'm getting more and more impressed but did you think of me as some easy slut?" she asked in a disappointed tone.

"Fuck no, if so then you would have been feigning over Zantar with his looks and him being referred to as most as the leader of the younger generation I wouldn't be surprised if you told him to stay after class, very eager to pop that pussy for him," I said with a slight smile on my face.

"Boy, you think that I would put that depraved beast in my mind at all? His talent is above average at best and is nothing more than an overconfident fool. Even Duke Valareian has to pay me respect, let alone his disgrace of a son." she said shocking me immensely.

Who was this woman? While I knew that Zantar was hated by a lot of people, mainly of the female gender due to his lustful nature. While demons qilins were extremely lustful beings Zantar took it to a whole new level, garnering the disgust of his peers. Bur for her to say things about him while also revealing that even Duke Valareian would treat her with respect meant that wasn't simple by any means.

There were not many people that Zamir Valerian would have to bow to, in fact, other than the royals of the Federation, royals of the other top 4 clans and superfamilies such as mine, he pretty much had peak status, he also used to be a close friend of the emperor. Although they aren't close anymore from what I have heard that doesn't lower his status in the least so for Ms.Su to say something like that must mean that she is extraordinary.

"Who are you exactly? For you to have the awakening potion, say such things about Zantar and Zamir and for you to be so ten toes down on your guess of me being the strongest of the seven you are anything but simple. There is no way you would decide to be a teacher at the academy of your own volition. Who sent you? Was it Principal Irani or the empress?" I asked

She just smiled and shook her head acting as if she never heard my question in the first place but I was sure I was right. Only a person who had connections to the royals would be able to say and do such things. I have no idea weather if Ms.Su was sent by Principal Irani or not and even if she did I have no idea if it was to keep an eye on the seven of us or just me but either way, I had to keep my cards close to my chest.

"That's not important right now but I'm sure you'll find the answer weather you want to or not. But enough of that. Also, while I can't take that virginity of yours regardless of how much I want to test your prowess in bed, that doesn't mean that my hands are completely tied," she revealed as she licked her lips, giving me the signal that I had fucked up bad.

But before anything could take off we both stopped as we sensed someone had succeded in awakening their emblem. We separated from each other and went to our original positions and acted as if nothing had happened. While that little interaction had ended I was sure that this conversation was far from over.

Looking at the person walking over towards us I smiled and nodded my head as I was honestly impressed, while he on the other hand looked at me with resolute determination as surpassing me and proving that he was better than me was always his goal for the past few years. It was a shame that even if I did nothing for the rest of my life surpassing me was impossible, but I was interested to see how far he would go to prove that he was the top genius of the clan.

Duan Ru Feng, who was the second person who awakened their emblem in the class walked up to me and asked a question that I knew was coming whether he was the first person or last.

"How long did you take to awaken your emblem?"
