Seth,
It was the time. This was when the great serpent woke and their battle begins.
Seth waited patiently for his foe as the sun set. He saw the darkness settle and then he heard it.
The slithering of soft skin on the harsh grounds. The hissing of a big snake that stalks its prey.
All of that wasn't new to Seth. He had come to be used to it, to embrace it each night.
He embraced the darkness around him as well. He learned to accept it as a part of himself.
He didn't understand his father's logic in making him fight Apophis.
They both were creatures of chaos. They embrace it as if it was an extension of themselves.
Ra might have thought that this will make Seth remember his roots. This will change his malicious self.
But it only made him despise his father further. For being here cleaning his father's mess.
Apophis was born after Ra rose to this world. The serpent god was created from Ra's umbilical cord.
