Sebastian worked out in his room and read some newspapers. Then he lay down on his bed. There was something magical happening inside his brain. He had taken his breakfast; now his belly was full. He was feeling happy now. After a few seconds he fell into dozing stage. In this trance state he always thought clearly. He was keeping a notebook by his side on the bed as usual. In his first dream he saw a deer and he felt like he was in a forest and heard some strange voices. Those voices were coming from a group of tribal people with dark skin. Those tribal people were wearing barks and beads. Strange tattoos all over their bodies. Those tribal people were muttering in some strange voice. He felt like a member of the group too. Hearing the voice the deer was getting confused. It was running berserk. Sebastian saw Andrew's face in the group. There was a multi-fanged cobra also. Sebastian saw that the multi-fanged cobra was watching him. He was terrified. He woke up. What was I thinking? What is the meaning of this symbolic dream? Does it have any meaning? He woke up and jotted down some words on his notebook: multi-fanged cobra, Andrew, strange voice, hunting, tribal people. He circled these words. What's the meaning of it? What's the meaning of it? He hit the nib of the pen on the word "Multi-fanged cobra." What's the meaning of it? Do I know someone with a name similar to cobra? Does the word cobra mean something? Does the symbol denote something? Or someone? – Yes King Pissin Cobra. – Nice brain Sebastian. That's why the multi-fanged cobra. – Yes, this dream of mine speaks of the hunting expedition of Andrew and Pissin Cobra at Adam and Eve Islands. – But what was the strange sound? He tried to remember. He put his palms around his ears – as if trying to hear a distant sound.
No, he could not remember the strange sound.
He tried to visualize his whole dream. But no, he could not hear any strange sound. Leave the sound. Why focus on it? If I can not remember it, it is ok. Perhaps it is not worth it: he said to himself. But some quiet voice in his mind opposed this statement: If you can not remember it, it does not mean that it is not important. It can be of paramount importance. Who knows it?
He lied again on the bed and tried to reimagining the dream. He tried to focus on each element of the dream: the color of the background; the details of the bushes; what was Andrew and others were wearing; the multi-fanged cobra; etc. But he could not remember the sound. It is futile to try anymore. Dreams are our darlings; yet we so dearly forget them. – My mind needs relaxation. Just relax. Just relax. He tried to sleep again. In the evening I will go to market and do the sight-seeing. Now just rest. But he was not feeling sleepy. He ordered a food tray from room service. The delivery boy said smirking, "Sir, don't you need any food on the tray?"
Boy, I am not eating with this tray. Ok: "No, thanks," he said to the boy giving tips.
He tried to sleep – his right hand outstretched away from his body carrying the tray – so that if he fell asleep, his grip would loosen up and the tray would fall with a clang – waking him up. This was his plan. This way he usually got creative ideas when he was feeling a dearth of it.
