"What happened? Who was it? Is it about our son?" his wife fired questions.
"Yes, it is about Matthew," said Adam.
"Who was it? What did he say?"
"It was Mark. Remember Kaerlud, hunting…"
"Yes, I remember. Does Mark know where Matthew is?"
Adam said, "Hmm, he is with him."
"Where? At Kaerlud?"
"No, at Belamundis."
"What is my dear son doing at Belamundis? Is he, is he all right?"
Adam took some time and said cautiously, "Yes, he is all right. Just he is hospitalized."
"HOSPITALIZED! Why? What has happened to him? Don't lie to me. Please tell me the truth."
Adam gazed at his wife and said, "I, myself don't know the whole truth. What is Matthew doing in Belamundis with my Kaerludian friend? And Mark told me that it was a minor accident. They argued for some more seconds. When suddenly Adam fell silent and was leaving the room, Susan begged that she wanted to accompany him to Belamundis.
Adam said, "No need. (If Matthew is hurt badly, you will over-react.) You take care of the house and father. I will go and get our boy. Please try to understand."
Then he called a local travel agent, "Yes, please make a flight ticket for me – yes a single ticket – yes, to Belamundis. Please hurry."
He disconnected the call. He was tensed; he was happy also, for his son was found.
