Kevin's first encounter with a Reaver had ended in disaster. He was lucky to have made it out alive. However, this time, things were a lot different.
Previously, Kevin was completely clueless about this new machine and had acted on impulse. It had been a terrible mistake, one which Kevin wasn't looking to repeat. Now that he knew what the Reaver was capable of, he chose to be a lot more careful.
Attacking the machine head-on wasn't a good idea, so Kevin decided to come up with a better plan. This time he also had the advantage of having Suzy by his side. However, she still knew very little about the Reaver.
"That's the robot that attacked you when you snuck out a few days ago?" Suzy asked.
"Yes, it was the same type of robot," Kevin replied. "It is one of those new machines Dr. Cassandra was talking about."
"That sounds bad." Suzy's nervousness was evident from her quaking voice.
