Reuven suddenly looked at Adeline. He groaned loudly and dangerously at her for what she did. Yet, it did not mean he jumped at super speed against Adeline, because he immediately turned to the betas and roared again.
This crippled each of the werewolves into their fear. However, it did not mean they repented. And that the alpha must be gone, was what they thought about, though, independently.
On this spur, none of the werewolves had attempted to rise to his feet. They remained beside the rocky walls as they were healing from their agony. Thus, their breathing remained hard as their chest could be seen rising tall like the mountains and falling like the deep.
