The witch of the hut laughed again. Yet, it did not mean that she failed to compliment Adeline's commitment to craft a portal thus again. "Why not save your energy for the battle that would begin?" she mocked.
But Adeline was not bothered by the witch's word. She only paid attention to her torrent of energy as she continued to attempt to craft the portal.
Adeline screamed again. She forged her fingers, but nothing happened more than the lightning of the portal, which soon off like a candled quenched into smoky stains.
Though Reuven did not hear the voice of the witch of the hut, he also thought it would work if Adeline took some rest.
Yet, no matter how much he tried to convince her, he could not, her eyes' colour changed, and it seemed as though it was only her body that was present with the pack at the top of the mountain and her mind was far into another environs.
