Fire was a thing that would singe the turns' bodies and finally cause them endless death. But if that would happen so quickly was a lie because it would take some time for such a fire not mixed with the ashes of the cursed to take that impact.
First, it was their skin and their hair that became fried as a result of the blaze, then their flesh became scorched like a roasted pig for the hunters in the jungle.
And at this moment, Aponi and the rest of the turns growled out their misery in the burning fire. Yet, they continued to scratch on the door.
To say the door was not burning itself. It was a lie, and that made it more uncomplicated for the turns because the door lock would burn open any moment from now.
