In no doubt was the woman confronted with terror and this sole reason was another dread for her as she was covered with beads of sweat and her heartbeat pounded too fast like that of a horse in a race.
She walked backwards when she beheld the old bloodsucking monster that walked in upon her. Yet that did not mean her action would save her skin.
Even when the woman recognised the old woman. That did not also mean the old woman remembered her, and no matter how much she pleaded, it made no difference that the bloodsucker skimmed at her from head to toe.
That was not all. Because at this moment, the old woman thus sniffed the sweet fragrance of the blood travelling through the woman's veins.
And the bloodsucker continued to gnash her teeth against the woman in terror that her back now hit the wall.
