When Reuven and the rest of the werewolves heard the footsteps coming to them from the pit before them, the omega wolves in their ranking did not fail to express their cowardice.
But even as they feared what was coming up to them, it did not mean they took an escape from that scenario. It only meant their feet froze in anxiety and their minds were crippled in the face of terror.
To one another the omega wolves looked at each other and their grumble were like that of a shy cat. But to run from the fight was only a death sentence to them because the alpha will find them and what would be left of them thereafter would be their bones.
The gamma wolves were nothing like this. They stood gallantly and shot their dangerous gaze at what was coming to them and the same was the beta wolves.
