Reuven continued to ask even when he had got no responses from Adeline. Her silence continued to annoy him also and he did not hesitate before he gave a jab unto her jaws.
This caused her to start to breathe heavily. For a fact she knew she could not tell them she was only on a journey to find a witch who will cure her portion of the general curse of her kind. But she was more concerned about what the knowledge of her intention could cause.
If she said anything maybe she might be let go or she might be followed or they might as well be aware of the witch before her and thus kill her in order not to find it.
"You see. I will tell you a story, girl.." Reuven said as he moved closer to Adeline and caressed her hair forth and back yet slowly.
