It was the day after a BTS concert. The members are having breakfast in their house, and having a conversation about their vacation plans.
"So, what are you guys planning for this month-long break?" RM asked.
"I just want to relax and go somewhere quiet and do some sightseeing." Jimin was the first to answer.
" Yeah, me too. I was thinking of catching up on my photography." Jungkook said.
"I never expected that doing online concerts can be tiring too. I think I want to go to the countryside for a change and do some R&R." Hobi said.
"Hibernate. I just wanna sleep." Yoongi said.
"You always sleep every break we get, Yoongs, let's do something new, come on!" Jimin pouts at his boyfriend.
Just then, the door to the kitchen opens and their manager, Sejin arrives.
"Hey, I just dropped by to say goodbye. I'll be back in four weeks. Just message me if something urgent comes up. Emphasis on urgent." Manager Sejin said.
"Where are you off to, Sejin-shi?" Jin asked.
"I'm going to my hometown to visit my family."
"In Gurye?" Jungkook asked.
"Yes!"
"Hyung! When are you leaving? I've always wanted to go there. I've heard that there are beautiful places to see. " Jungkook asked excitedly.
"I'm leaving in 2 days."
"Can I go with you?" Jungkook asked.
"What if we all go?! I've never been there." Hobi jumped in.
"Seems like a good idea. We can all rest, unwind and Yoongi can sleep all he wants." Jin said.
"I can continue writing there too. And I bet my plum tree will enjoy the air there." RM agrees.
Manager Sejin was surprised but was nonetheless amused by their suggestion, saying, "Are you guys serious? I'm not sure I'd want to spend my vacation with you six." He jokingly said.
"Oh come on, Sejin-sshi. I'm sure you'd enjoy our company. Plus, we know you love us." Hobi teased.
Manager Sejin laughed. "Okay if you're serious about this, I know of a place you can stay there. Our family friend has a private guest house in their farmland. And it's big enough to accommodate all of you."
"That's great. Everyone in?" RM asked.
Everyone agrees.
"Okay. I will call my brother to help with the preparations." Manager Sejin said, then paused for a bit.
"I can't believe that I'm still the one making arrangements for your vacation." Manager Sejin said with a laugh.
"Again, you love us." Hobi said.
"Ya, ya. Whatever." With that, Sejin leaves.

Gurye, Jeollanam-Do, Korea
Taehyung was leisurely lounging in their coffee shop. Too engrossed with a book he was reading he did not notice someone coming in.
"Boo!"
"Aaaah!" Taehyung screamed as he turned around to check who disturbed his peace.
"Min-ho, what the hell!"
Min-ho was clutching his stomach, laughing so hard on his best friend's reaction.
"You should have seen your face."
Taehyung ggrabbed a throw pillow and started hitting his best friend with it.
"I hate you! What are you even doing here?!" Taehyung said.
"Tae, I have news for you. You won't believe who's coming here to Gurye." Min-ho said.
"Who?" Taehyung asked as he goes back to his reading.
"Agust D with the rest of the BTS!"
"Your rapper idol? And wait, BT-who?!'
"BTS. Are you kidding me, Tae?"
"What?! Am I supposed to know them?"
"Taehyung, the rest of the world knows them. You're just living under a rock."
"Well, I'm very much contented knowing what I know, FYI."
"That's why you're missing out on a lot of things."
Taehyung rolls his eyes, "It really depends on your perspective."
"Okay, okay. I'm not here to argue about your existential beliefs so let's go back to the topic. Anygays, I came here to ask you a favor." Min-ho said.
"No, you cannot have free coffee."
"What?! I don't just come here for free coffee!"
Min-ho said defensively.
"Then what is it Min-Ho? You're disturbing my quality alone time."
"Can you please ask aunty if the private guest house is available for the rest of the month?"
"Well, I think so, we're not expecting any guests. Though, I'm currently staying there because i had an argument with Appa."
"What is it this time??
"He wants me to explore other career options and go be independent in Seoul or wherever."
"He means well, Taehyung. You haven't really explored outside Jeollanam-do."
"And what's wrong with that? And, besides I'm not even dependent on them. I work for my own money."
"I guess he just feels that you can do more. You graduated top of your class, you have a masters degree. I mean, you can be a University professor if you wanted to."
"IF I wanted to. I am very much happy being a preschool teacher here and I love the kids."
"Ok, fine let's not argue about this. Let's go back to the guest house. So, do you mind sharing it with six other people?"
"As long as they don't bother me and I don't have to socialize with them, that's fine."
"Yeah, come to think of it, you will be the perfect company because: one, you don't know them; and, two, you don't have social media."
Taehyung was confused," What does me not having social media have to do with it?'
"That means you wouldn't take their pictures and post about it."
"Whatever, Min-ho. I'll go ask Eomma."
"Can you ask aunty now, because they will be here in two days."
"Ugh, you're so annoying!" Taehyung puts down his book and grabs his phone, dials his mother's number and passes the phone to Min-ho.
"Here, go ask her yourself."
Min-ho talks to Mrs. Kim, giving her a background on BTS and asks permission if the boys can stay in their guest house for the entire month.
"Sure, Min-ho. That wouldn't be a problem. By the way, are they all single? Do you think one of them could be a potential boyfriend for my Taebear?" Mrs. Kim, giggling on the other of the line.
Min-ho smiles mischievously and steps out of the coffee shop so that Taehyung won't hear the conversation.
"From what I know, I think two of them are single."
"That's great! Send me their pictures. I have a good feeling about this."
Min-ho laughs at how adorable Mrs. Kim is. They have been trying to set up Taehyung ever since college, but for some reason, there's no one good enough for picky Taehyung. Min-ho ends the call and goes back inside the cafe.
"It's settled. You'll be having six roommates for the next couple of weeks." Min-ho told Taehyung.
Taehyung raised one of his eyebrows. "Why did you have to step out? I hope you're not planning something with my mother again?"
"What do you mean?" Min-ho smirks, feigning innocence.
"Oh you know what I mean. I'm warning the both of you. Don't try anything you will just be wasting your time...and mine!" Taehyung forewarned.
Min-ho chuckles. "You're a hopeless case, Taehyung."
"Before you meddle with my love life, focus on yours!"
"Yuna and I are perfectly happy."
"Well, that's not what I've heard." Taehyung said, sassily.
"Did she talk to you behind my back?"
"Maybe?"
Min-ho got curious and sighed, "What is it this time?"
"Since you're perfectly happy, why don't you ask her?"
"Hey, whose side are you on? Your loyalty should be with me!"
Taehyung laughs. "Just talk to her Min-ho. Now, leave me alone."
"Why are you even my best friend?"
"You know, I still don't have an answer to that. There's probably no logical reason. But, until I find one, you're stuck with me."
Min-ho grabs Taehyung's book and runs out of the store.
"Min-ho!!! What are you, five?!?! Give my book back!" Taehyung jumps up from the sofa and runs after him.
