Carter was standing and staring down at the table and the container of food and drink that he had been brought. He let out a breath and while it smelled amazing when he tried to eat it a few minutes ago his stomach had lurched. Shit, what was he going to do about this? His body was starting to reject food, and he felt incredibly hungry.
With a sigh, he just closed the box and decided to take it to one of the patients that was here. He knew a few of them were hungry and had been brought things. One had been sleeping but was now awake. Better if he gave it to a patient and then he would not have to explain to the others why he didn't eat what they brought him. It wasn't that he didn't want to, he just couldn't.
