"Hmmmm? Won't you say anything, you seem so energetic just a moment ago killing my precious creation. C'mon I won't bite." [Clown]
My head was barely working by this moment. I could feel the world spinning and any thoughts I had instantly dissipated right after it's formed. I could hardly see anything now and I'm not even sure if I'm standing anymore.
Every one of my senses were flipped upside down and yet I wasn't able to faint.
"How boring. You're really an ordinary person? Really?" [Clown]
The clown's voice reverberated in my head like needles poking into my brain.
"Oh you puked on yourself. How funny! Hey you're still there right? Is your mind still intact?" [Clown]
The clown laugh is a mocking manner. I couldn't feel much of anything now and decided to shut my brain down.

The clown was bored waiting for the plan to finished. He didn't have much to do and standing around in one place wasn't it's thing. Thus he started wandering around the street in boredom.
And sure enough, something interesting catches his eyes. A boy who was wide awake and hiding inside a house. What's more interesting is that something in his backpack has a strength near rank 9 which is something a normal person shouldn't have.
He wanted to play with the boy a bit thus called out one of the mutated specimen to test the water a bit. It turns out the boy was really a normal human! The clown laughed at his own luck.
As a rank 4, he has a wicked hobby to use his divinity to drive normal people insane. They always have the most amusing reaction!
It was a pity however that the boy didn't last as long as he hoped. There wasn't much else he could do to relive himself of his boredom after all.
'Maybe I should wake one of the human down there to play with them?'
Before it could move away however an unexpected situation happened. The isolation barrier was destroyed and the crack in the sky was closing up in a very fast paced. In the sky, a silhouette of a person could be seen high in the sky. Despite the distance there's a steady glow of warmth around them giving a feeling of assurance.
Any ordinary person would revered them as god however the clown thought differently. Inside the clown mask, a rarely seen panicked expression appeared and his thoughts started turning chaotic.
'A rank 3?! Weren't they all busy this time around??'
It didn't hesitate and disappeared from where it was as soon as possible. It had to retrieve the potential anomaly before it's too late!

Up in the sky, the person standing there have a brilliant figure. Sharp, solid facial features with a gentle expression. His red hair flow in the sky like it's swimming and his eyes pure red, spreading life to whoever sees him.
His hand hold a picturesque cane that didn't seem to fit with this realm. He was looking down above, capable of seeing all changes in this world.
'Divinity corruptions, lots of them at that. What were they planning to do?'
It didn't matter what they tried to do since he is here. He raised his cane up high and all of his glow were concentrated on his cane. Very quickly, a wave of energy similar to him spread out the surroundings. Beasts died, normal people woke up and the crack in the sky completely dissipate. The entity inside gave a horrifying scream but couldn't do anything but watch as the small hole closed itself.
He wasn't happy however and a frown soon appeared on his face.
'Someone is heavily corrupted with divinity and it's from a different source. The other thing is... an anomaly.'
He made his decision right away and tore through space, rapidly approaching the anomaly. He soon arrived before the anomaly and a rank 4 being ambushed him.
With a flash of light, several mirrors surrounded him not reflecting himself but strange creatures. With a wave of his hand all the mirrors broke away leaving one with the reflection of the clown suit rank 4 being.
"Tch" [Clown]
Another flash of light and many dark needles pierced the space itself, breaking connections with reality itself.
"Escaping? Not allowed." [Rank 3]
Waving his staff in a circular motion, all the needles broke down and lose all glimmer. A thin light veil covered the clown as countless flaming arrows stick itself in the poor rank 4, burning him down to the very atom.
He still wasn't very satisfied by this result evident by his unhappy expression.
'Being recreation? What a tricky bunches.'
He didn't manage to completely eradicate the clown as a rank 2 being has placed safety measures in the rank 4 being. Although he frustrated he decided to leave the matter be. Going up against a rank 2 alone is blind stupidity.
He has managed to secure the anomaly anyway so there was no need for him to take further action.
'Now it was time for that kid.'
Space was tore into 2 different parts, one to transport the anomaly back to testing sites while the other he walked through, arriving next to a poor boy. The boy has puke on all his body, his mouth foaming and signs of strange life form growing on his skin.
He looked down at the boy with indifference and his hand reaches to his head, intending to put him out of his misery. However he soon found an intense life reaction in his body and quickly pulled away. Although the life energy was quickly dissipating, it was enough for him to save this boy.

In my consciousness, a nice warmth suddenly surrounded me as a part of my mind start to awaken again. But this part of mind has no energy left to think and what's left is a primitive desire to live. That desire was enough for I to activate an ability.
[Athlete's boost].
Soon energy refills my body. Although it disappeared fast but it was enough for me to enjoy that warmth just a bit more....

When I wake up, a man so beautiful that I would start worshiping sit next to me. His expression of indifference was enough to make me happy for a whole year. However I couldn't care enough about his beauty or grace. Instead the feeling of death still remained fresh in my mind deepening my deep rooted fear from before.
A pleasant voice was heard by my side while I was still busy thinking.
"For the meantime I'll share some Karma with you, just sit tight in order for the corruption to die out. Afterward, I'll send someone to take care of you." [Rank 3]
The man didn't care for what I wanted to say and pushed my back in laying position with a wave of his hand. A cane lay on my stomach paralyzing my entire body. I gulped nervously as a sense of fear took hold of me. I still haven't recovered from being half dead before and couldn't help but scream even though nothing has happened yet.
'What's this? I can't move my body. Am I going to die again? But he said to share something. Karma? I heard that somewhere before...'
A burning sensation interpreted my train of thoughts. It was violent like a raging volcano and fierce like a meteor. I wanted to scream again but the painful feeling was soon replaced by a soothing one. The raging volcano turned into a hot spring and the fierce meteor turned into summer winds. The transformation was so sudden that I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
Since it's not like I can do anything here I should just enjoy this feeling. Perhaps I haven't been able to relax for a few days now but I was soon sound asleep in the pleasant experience.

He was a bit flabbergasted that the boy managed to fall asleep in the midst of an energy transfer. If he was a rank 5 or lower this would have failed horrifically and potentially changing both of them into mad man.
'Well whatever'
Since the gap was so big transferring became much easier for him thus he could put his attention elsewhere.
He grabbed his phone from home and called the aftermath management team.
"Vel. Yeah everything is taken care of. Since it's a pretty big incident we'll need to use S-6. There's 3 that woken up from the illusion space I'll leave them to you. Coordinate sent.
This boy was corrupted pretty heavily, I managed to treat him but remember to bring him back to me about 3 months later to do checkup. I'll need to do some test of a new anomaly so I'll be busy for a while. Love ya." [Rank 3]
He was soon done with the call and the energy transfer. Before leaving, he choose to leave the boy with his name mainly to help him if the corruption ever came back again.
After all, once a person is saved from a corruption, that person can only rely on the energy of the one who saved them to fends off other type of corruption before they could do it themselves.
He engraved his name in the boy mind, making sure it wouldn't be forgotten.

I haven't had such a good sleep in a long time. It was the most refreshed I have felt waking up from a sleep. I noticed quickly that unlike before there were several people surrounding him. They were checking his body for harm while a woman wrote down whatever they finds.
Where did that person from before go?
When I remember that person, a name soon pop up in my mind. Anderson.
His name was Anderson. Although I didn't know why but he was sure of it.
"So you woke up. It's passed morning already you know?" [?]
"Um. Can you tell me what happened?"
I was truly clueless as to everything that's happening now. Things have already gone out of my hands the moment this incident happened and it's to be expected. I didn't have much right now after all.
"There's a problem in this area but you are safe now." [?]
It seems like she didn't want to answer any of my questions for now. Since that's the case, she'll probably have something else to says right?
"I'm sure that you have face some... unnatural things right. Well we have an offer for you. We can either help you forget this incident and live like normal afterward or we can have you learn more about this world to protect yourself. Both options have their merits and well I hope you won't regret it later." [?]
I see. An offer for the unfortunate is it. Well there's no need to think much about it though as I have already chosen my answer. Death is scary but the unknown is even scarier.
"I'll learn. That's ok right?"
The woman nodded as confirmation. Before I noticed it all the people from before was gone, leaving us alone.
"Alright then. Let's see... next month is the start of a new semester. You're lucky, you can start learning tomorrow. The course will takes a full year, you have any problems with that?" [?]
I was a bit surprised that they've got a whole school for this but I realize how dumb it is to not have one. However going to school again is... not very exciting. Since it's for survival I won't complain.
"It's fine."
"Then that's settled. Be ready to leave for school around 14th of July. We'll send an instructor to introduce you to the basic two days later. You have any questions?" [?]
"Uh what's your name miss-"
"Velorica" [Vel]
"Miss Velorica, do you know anyone by the name of Anderson?"
"Yes. I'll talk to you about this matter later." [Vel]
She seems not very happy when his name was mentioned. Are they not on good terms maybe?
"Well since you don't have anymore questions, I'm going. Go home and take a rest, you still haven't recovered that much." [Vel]
"O-oh ok."
It was just a moment and she was already gone...
For now, I guess I'll walk home?
