"Where's everyone?" Jasper dashed out of his room, slamming the door wide open. The cold uneasy air of the corridor floods into his room. He pokes his head out and looks out of his door, only to be greeted by the sight of emptiness. Not a single soul was around. He extended his foot out, walking out of his room. He felt a cold eerie feeling throughout the halls.
Jasper walked out, into the main hallway, still not a single person in sight. He walked cautiously as his footsteps creaked on the old wood floor. He smelt something, something pungent. The smell of dried blood lingered in the air. He stopped walking and halted immediately, seeing dried blood smeared across the walls. He nearly threw up but covered his mouth with his hand, holding his disgust back. He was petrified, he stood there, his feet rooted to the hard floor.
