Chapter 23 - Saving Nami

"Did you not hear me," Sanji said with anger before looking up at Arlong, standing with the other pirates, "let go of her. Or else..."

"Or else what...I'll be teaching you a lesson, little boy," one of the pirates used a club and swung it in Sanji's face.

Nami watches with fear as the club slowly advances toward Sanji right in front of her, and although she doesn't know who he is, she doesn't want him to get hurt for her.

"I said...Let her go!!!"

Opening his eyes, a burst of power came from his little body and spread to the entire island, and instantly all of the pirates felt like their body was locked with intense pressure.

In an instant, the wooden club broke into a cloud of dust, and the pirates closest to Sanji got pushed back like they were punched into the stomach.

The villagers watch as the sky above with the clouds seems to be shaking, and even the ground below their feet is quaking with fear.

The Arlong pirates stopped moving as their body lost all their strength and their heartbeats stopped as they passed to their deaths without even knowing how they had died.

In that second, all the pirates fell to the ground as everyone looked with awe at the boy with golden hair who seemed to be at the center of these corpses.

"Looks like I'm still not as strong as Lee or Luffy," Sanji thought to himself as he saw that every pirate on the island had died from his pressure using haki.

The last time when Luffy and Lee were fighting against an army of giant ants in the depth of the wild forest, their conqueror haki was so strong that in an instant, they could kill every monster that was locked by their power.

Secondly, their pressure was so intense that it destroyed the monsters' bodies closest to them until it became a mist of blood in the air or would crush the monster's body into broken pieces.

Nami fell to her knees as she felt like no strength was left in her body after struggling against the force of Arlong before.

She watched as Sanji came up in front of her as the raindrops fell on his soft golden hair. She could see the warm smile that melted all the fear she felt in her heart, like the rain that suddenly came down from the sky.

Stretching out his hand, there appears a large orange which he hands to Nami, "Don't cry now, Nami. Everything is going to be fine."

The world turned silent, and there was only the sound of the light raindrop filling the place, a quiet raindrop that gave it a peaceful stillness.

Nami took the large orange and looked at it with surprise, and she wondered how come this young boy knew her name.

With a light smile on his face, Sanji turned his back and walked away slowly from her sight, and Nami stood up and asked him with eagerness, "I still haven't known your name."

Turning his face, she could see a warm smile and love in how he looked at her, but he didn't say anything to her.

In the last step that he took, Sanji looked up at the dark sky and gave a light punch to the atmosphere that dissipated the clouds away as the warm glow of the sunlight fell and shone on her face.

She watches as Sanji disappears from his spot like how he came into her life, and she doesn't know his name, except she would always try to remember him every time she encountered challenges.

...

"You just left like that?" Lee asked with disbelief.

"What do you expect," Sanji smiled lightly, "since Jiraiya got married, I had also begun to think whether I should be making some preparations."

"But it is good what you had done, Sanji-San," Lee commented as he gave Sanji a light pat on the shoulder, "you're a good person."

"Is this how being too powerful feels," Sanji seems to be speaking to himself, "I wish there were some powerful enemy to fight."

"I can always fight you if you want," Lee said with a giant smile.

"It is different fighting you," Sanji said, "I've been fighting you every day for ten years."

"But you're right, Sanji, being too strong can feel boring sometimes," Jon said, thinking back to Saitama, "oh yeah, that reminds me...where are Kakashi and Saitama?"

"Did you call them to dinner?" Lee looked at Sanji to see if he would know anything.

"I already told them about it," Sasuke then appeared with Itachi through a portal, "Kakashi is busy in the library reading up on the Icha-Icha series that Jiraiya left behind. And Saitama...I haven't seen him today."

A day after the wedding, Kakashi and Saitama were invited to this world.

In his timeline, Kakashi's father still hasn't died, so getting the news that his father is going to suicide made Kakashi significantly depressed, and he rushed back to his world and arrived just in time before his father took his own life.

As for Saitama, in the One Punch Man world, he still hasn't lost his hair yet, so when he found out through the light that he would lose his hair eventually, he was extremely depressed.

But the thing that made him smile again was upon Naruto, bringing him to the infinite mountain of gold at the back of the forest.

Seeing all that gold nugget piled up high into the sky for the first time made Saitama kneel on the ground with shock described on his face.

Returning to his world shortly after, Saitama quit his day job search and officially retired from working of any nature.

And besides Saitama and Kakashi, another person invited to this world is Erza Scarlet, "Hey Jon-Sensei, I'm hungry."

Jon sees a girl tugging on his shirt as he smiles and hands her a cake he had already prepared beforehand, "Here's your favorite strawberry cake."
