Amelia chuckled, not knowing if it was from finding his words to be funny or if she was just drunk. "I'd say it's my husband helping me out. Saying husband is odd too," she sighed.
"Thought you would be marriage free your entire life?" Killian asked.
"Of course not. Such a thing would not be possible as I would need to have a child. The issue was being with someone I could tolerate. Who would have ever thought that person would be a demon? Why aren't you eating any of the meat? Nervous? I heard that people become so nervous on their wedding days that they are unable to eat," Amelia recalled what she heard maids say.
"I am far from being nervous. I am sort of missing calling you, princess. It left my tongue better than the queen or wife. Not that I am trying to discredit your new titles," Killian clarified so she would not be offended.
