His grip on her ankle was more than enough to leave a bruise on her delicate skin. She was certain if he had applied any more force, it was sure enough to snap. "Let go of me!" She screamed, trying to wiggle her wrist free.

She stumbled back as he rose to his feet. She hadn't exactly done much damage to his face, if not for his next actions the tiny cut on his bottom lip was made noticeable as he slid his tongue over it. Her eyes followed the action and an unknown sensation shot through her body. There was a devilish look in his eyes as they focused on Maria's petrified form.
