Arnold arrived at the Michaels household a few minutes after he had dispersed the groups. Much to his chagrin, Anthony was not with Mary and Mary looked frayed. Mary, unusually, looked like she was afraid of her own shadow. Arnold ordered Caleb and the other men to guard the old woman as well as the house and stepped out of the house. Arnold walked out of the house. Just as he had expected, he saw a silver-like stone under a tree in a secluded dark spot in the vicinity. The place was utterly dark, that was why he could spot it easily. Moreover, he knew his target was shady and his character never allowed him to be in the light. He walked past all the houses on the lane, while he made sure he was not followed, to the tree at the secluded area. Arnold made sure no one was either ear- nor eyeshot, took a deep breath and smiled.
"I know you're there. Just show yourself" Arnold said as he stood akimbo under the tree, with a fan in his left pocket.
Much to his anticipation, a few knives came flying in his direction. He dodged all and used his fan to knock off the last knife.
"You found me earlier than i figured you would" Anthony said as he stood directly behind Arnold.
"You don't change do you. As long as I am aware of, i know you just as I know the parts of my body" Arnold said as he turned to face him.
"I've got the same issue here. And it all runs back to fact that we were once inseparable. Best friends. That was what we were right? Huh?! Raymond's got that position now. I wonder when his tenure will be over" Anthony said wearing a sardonic smile.
"Back to the same topic? I wonder when you can finally get over it. We were friends, once, but now we fight on different sides. We're woes, Tony. Your name alone brings so much distress."
"Wow, man, slow down. My name alone brings so much distress? I'm glad I hold that much power. Anyway, what do you want from this woe" Anthony asked, never dropping his snarky.
"What did you do to her?"
"And who are we talking about?"
"Mary Michaels"
"What can I possibly do to her?"
"She's freaking out of her mind right now. And you ask that?"
"I didn't even touch her yet and she'd freaked out. Damn! I missed all that fun!"
"Why are you here, Anthony Moore?" Arnold asked seriously.
"I know i am an outcast, but should you all treat me like this? Like bad news?"
"Emotional blackmails don't work on me. Try again later. Now why are you here?"
"Why don't you figure it out yourself since you're so smart. The stone that led you here is a hint. Guess, i got to go"
Before Arnold could protest, wind gushed from behind him which forced him to fight for composure. Arnold knew better than anyone, Anthony's windy counterpart, Angela, his first love, has vanished into thin airs with Anthony. Arnold saw the silvery diamond like stone on the floor and picked it up. It seemed more like a normal stone until he unintentionally turned the stone. The stone rearranged itself and the word, 'DYNAMITE', came into vision before it somehow turned into dust.
"Dynamite?"
