Chapter 32 - Forbidden Feelings

Kimi would've preferred it if the King came to see Lela, she would've felt safer knowing the King only wanted to see how the Princess is doing, but not Teagan. The Prince was still under suspicion of knowing Lela's secrets, and though he had always been nice to her, there was no telling what he'd do. The first prince wasn't one to make rash decisions, which was why Kimi thought the Prince had heard Lela and the Second prince and let her rest since she was shaken from what the Second Prince did to her, and he just came to see her for questioning. Kimi let out a sigh and raised her head only a little, not fully looking at him. She kept her eyes on his chest, which even felt like a crime punishable by death. Kimi blinked a few times, forcing her eyes to stay far away from the Prince.
