Kimi opened the door to the Princess's room to let Cora in, then she went out after getting a "go ahead" nod from the Princess. Though Cora was helping them, it still didn't make any sense to Kimi that the princess had little trust in her. Cora didn't have a trusting face, she looked like that type that brings downfall and misfortune to people, and Lela thought so too.
All through the night, after Nolan, the royal physician successfully helped sneak her back into her room with the help of Kimi, Lela couldn't sleep. She kept thinking about Cora and why she decided to help. Cora didn't have any reason to help her, and she had no reason to take help from Cora, but her plan had been the best thing, and it came at the right time. It was too smooth to be coincidental.
