"What do we do, Princess?" Kimi's voice came out as a whisper, shaky and scared as she stole glances at the unconscious royal body laying on the balcony. Lela blinked a few times as she stared at the body too. She was equally as blank as Kimi, her brain had stopped working, and her body wouldn't move. Lela swallowed. She blinked her eyes again, four times this time, then she took in a deep breath, and for the first time since Fayan entered her room, she looked at Kimi, confusion, fear, and amusement evident on her face.
"I don't know. I'm trying to think," Lela inched closer to Fayan's body, angling her palm over his forehead, but she was too scared to touch him. What if this was a prank? Lela shook her head, he had blood on his… face?
