Not too long after Layla had explained everything to Henry, one of the younger wolves came and found them, and said that Bruce was looking for them at their home. Layla and Henry went back immediately to find Bruce waiting for them outside.
"You're going to Hunt with us," Bruce said to Henry. "You and I and Jake have been assigned to one hunting party, we're to bring back any big game we can find. "
Layla's jaw dropped Open at her father's words, "You can't be serious, " she protested.
"Orders from Bronx," Bruce said simply, and then turned around to go inside, leaving Layla and Henry alone outside.
Layla couldn't imagine what Bronx must be thinking, Henry and Jake had just fought to the death three days ago, he shouldn't be sending them out on a hunting party together. She didn't protest immediately though, thinking that Henry would.
