Layla watched Henry go with trepidation. She knew that he felt that he was safe, and that Jake wouldn't be able to hurt him in any way, but she wasn't so sure that she felt that way. She knew it wasn't fair of her, that Jake had never shown a side of himself like that, but she didn't think that he would challenge Henry like that a few days ago, either.
But it was more than just the fact that he was with Jake, she worried about Henry being in unfamiliar territory, too.
But she knew that she didn't have any choice in the matter, and she just had to trust that Henry was right, and even if he wasn't, that he would be alright. And in any case, she had enough that she had to focus on over here.
