Layla and Henry made their way back to their pack's main houses, carrying the supplies they had been charged with retrieving. The rain still fell lightly around them, and so by the time that they got back to the first of the houses, they were already wet again.
They set everything down and asked the nearest wolf to call either Bruce or Bronx, whoever he could find first. The wolf nodded, and set off running in a direction. Layla started to shiver again, ordinarily, this kind of weather wouldn't bother her too much, but she had just come from inside a warm cabin, and the stark difference was slightly jarring to her body.
Henry stepped over to her, and pulled her body close against his, sharing his body heat with her.
Layla's shivering abated a little, but not by much, and Henry wrapped his arms around her too, pulling her into his embrace. He held her like that for a moment, while they waited for Bruce to come to them.
