Layla stared at him in shock for a moment as the car continued to pass through Silva Forest, heading on tarred roads into the city.
Layla had no idea to respond to that. She knew that he was absolutely serious. He would definitely go back and slaughter her entire pack if he felt like it. He had killed the entire Sycamore Pack just looking for her.
Maybe she didn't know Auburn all that well yet, but she was learning that he would do almost anything.
The forest was beginning to fade around them with the trees thinning out and growing smaller and smaller the more they moved away from the packs' territories.
Well, one less pack now.
Layla had no proof that Auburn was truthful in what he was saying that he had killed the entire Sycamore pack. She knew that she believed him wholeheartedly. She knew that there simply wasn't any reason for him to lie.
She knew that he was bloodthirsty enough to have done exactly what he said he had done.
