Layla woke up that morning with a pit in her stomach. She knew what she was going to do, she had known her decision from the moment that Auburn had given her the ultimatum. But that didn't mean that she was ready to face it just yet.

Layla spent the day lingering and avoiding, drawing anything that she did out for as long as possible. She was trying to keep the time from moving too fast, even though she knew that it was a hopeless feat.
The moon would rise come nightfall no matter what she did, and she had to face the consequences of her decisions.
Soon, she was done with her morning shower and dressed, no matter how long she tried to procrastinate it, and she left her bedroom to make her way to the dining room. Auburn would have breakfast waiting for her there.
