The Crystal Palace is located on the west side of the castle and is the place where Her Majesty the Queen discusses politics and receives foreign ministers. It is called Crystal Palace because the dome of the Crystal Palace is all made of glass. From a distance, it looks like a huge diamond set between the Royal Garden and Silver Moon Castle.
The Chief led Susan through the arcade before the Crystal Palace. The arcade was filled with Silvermoon Castle guards in silver armor and some guards in black uniforms with gold trim. Those guards in black uniforms were scattered in twos and threes along the corridor. Compared to those Silvermoon castle guards who stood straight, they looked more like they were on vacation.
Seeing Susan looking at the guards curiously, the Chief explained: "This is the royal guard of the Obsidian Kingdom. They came with Prince Edward. Today is the day that Prince Edward arrives at the court."
