Susan's mouth was half-open in shock. Although everyone knew the Queen would do something tonight. Whether it was faking illness, refusing to attend or even deliberately painting her makeup ugly, these would not surprise everyone. Because of these things, the Queen has done them before. But sneaking out of the palace, even for Susan from the 21st century, was a step too far.
It's a medieval night. There were no police in the cities of this era. Drunks, thieves, robbers, and prostitutes are everywhere. A young queen with no experience of living outside the palace, and wandering the city at night, is simply crazy. She could get lost, harassed by bad guys, and maybe sold by traffickers.
When Susan thought of this, she felt her stomach cramp.
"So what do we do? Will the Queen be in danger? Is it enough for the Chief and his guards to find the Queen? Shall we help too?" Susan whispered urgently.
