"What are you doing, Lila? Why are you smiling to yourself?" Asked Widia to interrogate Kalila when she found Kalila smiling and cleaning at the same time the kitchen.
"M-M-Mom?" Kalila said nervously and surprised at the same time "Hmm--- No, really, ma'am. I just remember the conversation I had with a friend." Kalila explained while giving Widia a big smile.
Widia patted Kalila's shoulder with a small laugh "You can't lie to me, Lila. You remember Janu, don't you?"
"What? No, Ma'am." Kalila said panicked while Widia was still teasing her.
"Shhh… Mom, don't talk about Mas Janu. Later, Dad and Mas Adam will find out." Kalila said while placing her index finger on her lips.
"I like distracting you." Widia said chuckling seeing Kalila still not wanting to confess.
Widia was happy to see Kalila who was finally able to open her heart to a man. Widia knows exactly how Kalila always ignores love and relationship in her life.
Even some men visited Hendra's residence to propose to his favorite daughter. Each of them is a doctor, businessman, and even a lawyer. But they were all rejected outright by Kalila just because they wanted to focus on pursuing her careers and dreams.
Kalila says she doesn't have much time to get to know love first. That's one of the reasons why Janu feels so lucky to be able to have Kalila completely.
"Kalila..." Widia said softly to Kalila.
"Y-y-yes, Mom?"
"You don't need to cover up your relationship with Janu. I agree, how come you are with him. The green light." Widia explained by emitting a happy smile.
"Se-seriously, Mom?" Kalila asked while widening her eyes.
"Yes, dear. Later, I will slowly help you to talk to your Dad and Adam." Widia explained while rubbing the top of Kalila's head.
"Mom... Thank you for accepting my relationship with Mas Janu. I love you." Kalila answered who immediately hugged Widia tightly.
When Kalila hugged Widia, her eyes were fixed on the clock on the wall which already showed thirty minutes past seven
"Mommy!!!" Kalila shouted in panic and released her arms from Widia.
"Gosh! Why are you screaming in my ears?" Widia asked annoyed.
"It's half-past eight, Mom. I'll be late for my internship!!!" Said Kalila who jogged to her room.
Kalila took a very quick shower, then put on a white shirt and black cloth pants. She tossed his hair and then stuffed some money into his bag in a hurry.
"Mom, I have to go." Kalila shouted as she jogged out of her house.
Kalila glanced at her watch, which was already fifty minutes past seven. "Oh God! It's already late. Surely I won't be in a hurry to wait for an angkot (Indonesian Public Transportation)." Kalila muttered annoyed.
"Bajaaajjj!!! (Indonesian Public Transportation)" without thinking, Kalila finally went to the office with a bajaj whose base was only a few steps from Kalila's house.

08.30 WIB, Kalila had just arrived at her office and sure enough, she was already thirty minutes late.
"You know you're late, right?" Said Satria, Kalila's Manager, who suddenly sat in front of Kalila.
"Y-yes, sir. I know. I'm sorry--"
"What are you doing? You're not feeling well? You're never late before. Usually, you're the most exemplary apprentice. You came first than me." Satria asked curiously and cut off Kalila's conversation.
For a while, Tina suddenly looked at Kalila. She blinked a few times and gave a code to Kalila so she could lie a bit about the reason for her delay.
"Y-yes, sir. I-I-I'm not feeling well." Kalila was pretending, following directions from Tina who was right behind Satria.
"Oh My God, Lila! You shouldn't have come in. Just go home now. Later-"
"It's okay, sir. It's better now. That's why I decided to come to office now."
"Thank God! Okay, then. Take care of your self, okay?"
When Satria no longer showed his form in Kalila's room, Kalila immediately took a deep breath.
"Huft! Is this between you exemplary interns or because Mr. Satria has liked you since you did your internship here?" Said Sheila sarcastically.
"Hey, what the hell?!" Kalila commented
"Everyone here also knows how Mr. Satria treated you and how the other employees were." Sheila
"That's true! I agree. Usually, if an employee or intern is late, Mr. Satria will be angry. But, if Kalila is late, he will be noticed." Tina continued to agree with Sheila's words.
"You guys are so noisy. I'm going to work!" Kalila exclaimed annoyed

"Hi, Lila." Said the man who was in the Rolls Royce which was none other than Satria."
"Y-yes, sir?"
"You want to going back home, right? Come with me, I will drive you home. Maybe--"
"Oh my!! It's okay, Sir. I'll just wait for the Public Transportation here." Kalila refused Satria's invitation.
"It's okay. Sometimes---"
"Honey, have you waited so long? Sorry, I'm late." Immediately Janu approached Kalila and held her hand.
"Ma-Mas Janu." Kalila said wide-eyed in surprise looking at Janu who was already beside her.
"Let's get in the car." Janu said while embracing Kalila's body.
"Oh Hi, Sat? How are you? Thank you for accompanying my girlfriend here. I was stuck in traffic so I came late to pick her up." Janu said giving Satria a big smile. Meanwhile, Satria did not respond to Janu's words and immediately closed the car window.
When Kalila was in the car and Janu was focused on driving, Kalila's brain was wondering about Janu who was suddenly in his office.
"Mas Janu, why suddenly pick me up to the office?" Kalila asked curiously.
"So I can't pick you up? Oh, you want to be accompanied by Satria, huh?" Janu asked occasionally glancing at Kalila
"What is going on with you?" Kalila said annoyed as she folded her arms.
"Hmm… wait a minute. How did you know Mr. Satria?" Kalila asked confusedly
"I know. High school friend. Adam's friend too." Janu said.
"Enemies with Mas Adam too?" Kalila asked innocently.
Janu chuckled when she heard Kalila's question "Oh no. They are on good terms."
"If Adam had matched you with Satria would you like it?" Ask Janu spontaneously
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! What the hell?!" Kalila also shook her head and was still laughing at the silly question that came out of Janu's mouth.
"Yes, they are friends. While Satria likes you-"
"C'mon Mas Janu! You don't know anything. You just overthinking."
"Look, I'm not stupid, Lila. I know the difference between people's characters. Which ones look like they like it and who don't."
"Leave it, Mas Janu. I'm so hungry right now. Can you not talk about other people for now?" Kalila said while pouting her lips "Whatever Mas Adam's decision, will not affect our relationship. I love you more than you know, Mas Janu." Kalila explained as she rubbed Janu's forehead gently.
"Me too, Lila."
"Let's eat. I'm hungry." Asked Kalila
"Yes, honey. Sure!"
