Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - Raina Everstein

"Raina!" A desperate whisper rang out in a small makeshift half wooden-half cardboard hut, the pouring rain soaking through the tiny gaps forming small puddles on the darkened concrete below. "Raina! Hurry up,"

"I know, I know, mum!" Raina's voice whispered back from the back end of the hut, the young woman with dazzling long waist-length black hair hurriedly swiped all she could put her hands on into the handmade roughly patched bag swung around her shoulder,

"Raina! Just leave it! We really don't have enough time!" Her mother quietly ushered, "He's going to be here soon!"

"Alright, alright! I'm done!" Raina replied, closing the flap of the bag and running back towards the entrance of the hut and past her mother, into the grey glooming rain. "Where're we going?"

"To North Grenda Subway Station, your sisters are already there," her mother pointed to the left, eyes darting around in caution before locking onto a figure standing a few hundred meters to their right, her teeth grit in resolution, "Fuck, he's here. Run. I'll hold him back as long as I can,"

She took a deep breath and clenched her hands; a soft blue glow resonating from her fist whilst the temperature of the surrounding air dialed down a couple of dozen degrees,

"If I'm not back by tomorrow," Her mother once again turned to face her, a single teardrop racing down her cheek, "Tell Vera and Ivanna to live strong,"

"Mum-!"

"Raina!" Her mother cut her off, "You need to go now. Remember. I really really love you all."

She gave Raina one last hug and a kiss on her forehead, "I'll see you soon. Protect your sisters while I'm gone."

A strong gust suddenly swirled around her as she clicked a finger, forming a giant ice wall between them. "Hurry," a quiet whisper echoed out from the other end before a low bang thundered behind the ice,

"I finally found you," A rumbling voice growled with a sliver of a smirk, "You fucking whore."

"Argo, let my family go. This fight is against me and you. Do not involve my children in this." Raina's mother spat back, the temperature decreasing again as snowflakes could be visibly seen forming in the air.

Gritting her teeth, Raina clenched her bag in both hands as she took one last look at the ice wall and bolted as fast as she could towards the direction her mother pointed at.

The splattering of the rain overshadowed the beating of her heavy heart as water poured down from her face, uncertain whether it was the rain or the tears gushing from her eyes.

"Hurry... Hurry..." Raina muttered under her breath as the white illuminating sign of the subway station slowly came into view,

"Vera, Ivanna!" Raina shouted as she rapidly descended down the flight of stairs, her eyes scanning around for the figures of her sisters, but the abandoned boarding platform was all that greeted her, "Vera, Ivanna!"

"Are you looking for these two?" A sudden voice called out from behind her, a well-dressed man around 178cm tall loomed behind her with two unconscious young girls tied in a thick yellow glowing rope behind him like luggage,

"Vera! Ivanna!" Raina's eyes widened, "Let them go!"

"You must be Raina," the man suddenly chuckled, "The infamous powerless girl."

"5 years into the GGT and still without a special ability. Now, isn't that just embarrassing," he taunted, one hand covering his mouth to cover his smirk, "My boss would just love to add you to his collection,"

"Piss off!" Raina squinted, taking a step back, her hand slowly inching towards her bag,

"Don't even try to take that dagger," The man clicked his finger as a familiar glowing rope rushed out from beside him, circling around her wrist before tightening down and restricting her movement,

"Oh, how I'll love to keep you as my own, but you know the rules," he sighed, clicking his finger again as another rope rushed out and bound her arms and legs from moving a muscle, "Boss gets the first pick,"

The man slowly walked over with a slight strut, "Come on now, princess. Why don't we go see our King," He spun his finger and the rope began hovering behind him as he hoped up the stairs, a pair of rope bound to his feet as he and his captives lifted off the air and began flying towards a giant white building in the distance,

"Let me go!" Raina growled, struggling in her restraints, "I said, let me go!"

"Oh, I don't think you'd want me to do that right now," the man gestured towards the ground a few hundred meters below them, "Now, why don't our princess stay quiet."

A rope wrapped itself around her mouth, her previous cries turning to incoherent mumbling,

"Tell the boss I've arrived with some presents," the man nodded at the guard as he slowly descended to the ground with a thud, a giant freshly polished metal fence stood in front of him with not a speck of rust in sight.

"Yes Sir," The guard gave a quick salute before closing his eyes and muttered a few lines under his breath, "The boss says to come right in," The guard opened his eyes once again and stepped aside whilst lowering his head, the metal fence creaking softly as it slid open.

"The Boss is waiting for you in The Garden."

The man nodded as he strutted forward, the giant mansion and well-maintained pathway welcoming them in.

"Don't be surprised by what you see. The Boss doesn't like those who make a fuss." He suddenly advised as a tall trimmed hedge came into view, a small wooden garden gate as the entrance, "If you wish to keep your sisters safe, I'll recommend you do as I say."

A cold glare was the only response from Raina as she tried to loosen the rope around her to no avail.

"Be good now," the man chuckled, pushing the door open.

A strong musk permeated through the air as a soft creaking followed by sudden moans and groans could be heard from somewhere within the pink misty rose-lined garden.

"Boss," the man suddenly called out, walking over towards what seemed to be a giant bed with a thin opaque covering, obstructing the view of what was happening inside, "I've brought over a few presents,"

"Nggghh," A deep groan echoed out from within, followed by a soft woman's gasp rang out before a hand slowly reached out from within and pushed up the mesh,

"Oran," a familiar low sounding voice muttered as a tall, slightly tanned naked man peeked out, his short curly brown hair pulled slightly back from the sweat, his eyes looked over at his subordinates and the gifts that were brought to him, a small smile perking up from his lips.

"Master Argo, these the children of Milena Everstein." Oran presented as he stepped aside, displaying the goods he brought with him,

"Ah, Milena Everstein." a small twinkle in Argo's eyes, "Do you know what she said when I held her by the neck?" He raised his hand as if reminiscing of the moment,

"What did she say, boss?"

"She said that my karma would be my downfall," He chuckled as he slowly tilted his hand and squeezed his hand, before releasing and whistling a small cartoonish dropping sound.

"That woman was always quite strange," Oran nodded in agreement,

"But, now I have her children instead, I'd say that it seems like karma's on my side," Argo glanced over at Raina, her eyes still glaring straight at him. Her murderous intent was clearly visible. If looks could kill, the two in front of her would most definitely have died thousands of times over.

"I like her gaze," Argo licked his lips as he walked over, placing a hand on her chin, examining her closely, "This one's the powerless one, right?"

"Yes, sir."

"I like her," He nodded, before giving a look at the other two sisters, "Don't need them. Just put them in the collection room," He waved his hand in dismissal as he focused his attention back on Raina.

"Understood, Sir," Oran nodded, waving his hand and leaving the Garden with the unconscious Vera and Ivanna behind him,

"MmmmmGrrMmm," Raina screamed, struggling against her constraints as she attempted to shout at Oran,

"Hush," Argo frowned, immediately grabbing Raina by the throat, instantly stopping her shouting, "Why don't we leave the screaming to when we're in bed, hm?"

He nonchalantly lifted her up with one hand and raised up the net of the bed once more, revealing a giant silk-made mattress with an unconscious woman lying naked on her stomach, pushed to one end of the bed with a white liquid slowly gushing out from between her legs.

Simply shoving the unknown woman off the side and slamming Raina on the mattress, Argo licked his lips as he ran his finger down her body.

"Why don't we get started?"
