I lay down lazily in my room with a smile. My room hadn't changed much—I was never interested in so many changes anyway. Anyway, my face betrayed a cheery smile—I was definitely in a decent mood. It must have been great to have things in the direction I detected. I silently mused over everything that had happened in the past days since the test. It couldn't be more hilarious. How bad could it be?
But in my thought, I picked up my phone and opened the lid. I dialed a number out of my head without a bother. Anyone a few centimeters could clearly hear my tapping finger on my phone console, and the groan of pain from the phone echoed. After what seemed to be a moment, I sent the number and waited. After a couple of seconds, someone benevolently received my call. 'I'm in control.' I smiled openly.
"Hey! Can you run an errand for me?" I inquired.
"Are you asking or commanding?" a female voice said from the other end.
"You can interpret it how best you want. It wouldn't matter either way." I curtly said.
"What is it, then?"
"Well, I was thinking you could talk to someone for me about..."
I gave her a communication guide and hint. The person in question was bored and apartheid to conversations. I asked the girl to guide the person to the answer she wanted. After I made sure she understood the process, I sent her the picture and appointment time of the client. And after the information, I hung up and pushed cheerily toward the bathroom. In fact, I couldn't exactly say why I was so happy. Maybe, something must have eaten my brain. But regardless, I'm enjoying this newfound solace. Perhaps, I might have defeated my demons. How great!
It was already the evening of the third day; however, I already got tons of information in the afternoon on the necessary things I should prepare to execute my plan. The classes are focusing more on the victims. However, one person struck my interest like a bolt of death lightning: Chonglin Mingxia! That's because she was already looking for the bully. In fact, she had already set her eyes on the target. I wondered if she could extract the information. I sighed. This Chonglin Mingxia was one lonely ghost that had no intention of giving up or submitting. She wanted people to bow to her. The most annoying thing was her defying confidence! Well, let's see how this lord handles her.
...
On one of Suzhou senior high school's lonely walkways, I sprauchled. I had set my eyes on my target as well—it was time to execute most of my brilliant plans. This person appeared slightly plump with a wicked smile, and he glued a sun shade on his eyes even when there was no sun. Although he looked arrogant as he walked with his goons, something looked off. In any case, I was going to play him slowly.
He walked towards the south while I moved towards the north—we moved in the opposite direction but the same parallel lane. I sidled closer to him and furtively bumped with him. Although my action created a slight reaction, it appeared natural. No one could blame me for something unintentional. Moreover, who could argue that I bumped with him? In fact, it looked like he bumped with me instead.
However, I secretly left something on the ground where the incident happened. The said item was a single picture of a male with a sharp gleam in his eyes and devilish air. This person had a warrior look even though he was only a junior high student. But with him was a young girl with a cheerful expression. People could see the boy in the picture made the girl very delighted. Although his means of doing that was unknown.
Just as I continued my journey, one person among the goons called out, "Brother Bolin, look!" Pointing toward the ground, the student continued: "There is something on the floor."
Xiaobo Bolin picked the picture and froze in a place with a terrified expression—he was transfixed before he had a flash of thought and snarled: "Hey, what's this?" he immediately took control of the anxiety as he played tough.
"That is my gift to senior Xiaobo Bolin." I faintly chuckled with a victorious smile as I kept moving without looking back. As he saw I had no fear, neither did I have any intention to explain myself; he immediately checked the picture before he saw something on the back of the picture. It was a grotesque message, meet me at 8:00 pm. I will send you the address. Come alone without anyone. Or?
The message was short and precise; even a fool could not confuse himself even if he wanted. Seeing the seriousness of that message, I was sure he wasn't about to try his luck. I was, after all, a shameless nuisance, and I could do something very destructive. Anyway, this result was not in accordance with what I wanted, but it didn't mean I wouldn't make an exception if a cretin tried my patience and majesty. After all, the more energy I gave to that ungrateful gods-mind, the better for us.
At the same time, In the library, Tao Fen walked to a seat where a girl sat, bored with herself and her environment. Her aura insinuated that she loves being alone. However, she was not timid but just apartheid to communication. This girl had dull eyes, a small nose, and moon lips. Honestly, this person could have been perfect in a way if she was smiling and cheery, but her apartheid personality betrayed a slight glum on her face. It didn't mater either way—there must be people who could talk to people like her.
"You are Weshing Biyu, right?" Toa Fen accosted as she effortlessly offered herself a seat. She grinned with optimism at the thought of talking to her. It was as though heaven gave her this job specifically. Weshing Biyu, who had her eyes on the book she held, slowly raised her head with her detached face. She had no interest whatsoever in any conversation. However, it was a challenge that Toa Fen had familiarized herself with and was determined to execute this mission without fail as she wanted to avoid a demon like me ringing her again.
"Aren't you interested in getting who the bully is? Perhaps, the bullied victim?" Tao Fen said with concern. However, Weshing Biyu ignored her like she did not exist.
She balled her hands into a fist, and her eyes betrayed her irritation and anger (when had someone treated her like this), but everything quickly recovered.
"Let us play a game. Quite a simple game and I promise two things. First, if the game is not fun, I will pack up and won't disturb you again. Second, if you defeat me within three-play, I won't also disturb you. However, if the game is fun and you could not defeat in three rounds, you will tell me three things." Toa Fen spoke with unlimited resolve. In fact, more flame of determination sparked in her eyes. With every guide and detail I gave her, she knew her failure would be disastrous because I would punish her. And there wouldn't be any redemption.
When Weshing Biyu noticed that Toa Fen would be a pain in the neck, she decided for once to give up resistance and subscribe to her conditions. It was inevitable! Who would want someone to bug them continuously when they were busy with their lives. She was well aware that if she didn't do anything, the fool wouldn't leave. In fact, she eventually wanted to see where the confidence of this junior in front of her came! What made her think she could introduce a game to her? What made her believe she would enjoy herself like a clown? She wanted to see it! She wanted to see this confidence of hers.
The game was an athletic obstacle race (like temple run or subway surf) but played on the athletic track with different kinds of obstacles and with a multiple player system. In the first round, Toa Fen won, and the same in the second round. However, the third round was incredibly hard yet so fascinating that Weshing Biyu was literally vibrating with happiness. She thought, 'this game is incredibly intriguing.' The girl was happy she got to play the game.
The three games ended with Toa Fen as the winner. At this point, there was a visible smile on the face of Weishing Biyu. She rose instantly and smacked Toa Fen on the shoulder before she realized herself as she apologized with a depressed complexion. "I am sorry, I was over-excited." She said with a humble bow. It was a total change in behavior—it got Toa Fen thinking of the magical suggestion I (Guang Fang) gave her.
Weishing Biyu begged, "before you ask your question—I have something to ask you. Can we be friends? I would like to continue this kind of fun."
"Sure!" Toa Fen said as she shoved her card, and the girl immediately scanned it. The card recorded their details on each other's phones.
"So what do wanted to know? If it's within my power, I will answer them."
"Oh! Well, the first is: what made you detach yourself from people. The second one is: are you the victim bullied in this first-year test case? I am sorry to be direct. The last is: do you know the bully?"
"Whoa! Those are all difficult questions to answer. Well, I believe you came here all the same for these things, but let me know something. Even though you came originally because of this test—you won't fake our friendship hereafter, right?" She threw back Toa Fen's question with another question.
"I will value this friendship very well." Toa Fen answered sincerely, still smiling.
After some thought, Weishing Biyu began. "First, let us go in reverse order. I do not know the bully. Hence I am not the bully on this test. For the first question. The reason is simple! Everyone I have ever come across where surprisingly fake. Also, I get easily hyper-excited, just like how I had smacked you earlier, but most of my so-called friends don't like it. So after they pretend in front of me, they gossip behind. Anyway, this happened in junior high. So that was why I got no passion for talking to people anymore. So you are my new friend, right?" Weishing Biyu explained thoroughly.
"I understand what you mean now. I will try my best; however, I am not perfect either. I might not gossip about you, but you know I also have other friends, so you will not complain I ditch you. If anything, it may be great if you meet my friends as well."
"I will consider it. Thanks for being honest." She smiled for the first time with satisfaction. She was clearly charming as she smiled. Also, Toa Fen sparked her interest.
