''Lucas, are you okay?'' a voice said.
Lucas jerked awake upon hearing the voice. He knew that voice but his sleep induced brain couldn't process whose voice it was.
''Hmm?'' he murmured.
''Wake up sleepy head, its me.'' Kara laughed.
Lucas huffed, sitting up on his bed as he rubbed his eyes to clear away all of the sleep still embedded in his eyes.
''You're still sleeping.'' Kara chuckled, sitting close to him on the bed.
''Kara?'' Lucas asked.
''Took you long to figure out.'' Kara laughed.
''Sorry, i just slept off.''
''It's okay. You look so tired, are you alright?''
Lucas signed yet again, drawing her closer towards himself. He just needed her presence here with him.
''I just had a very strange meeting with the elders.'' Lucas sighed.
