"Mom, what day would you and dad be traveling?" Ariana asked one fine morning.
Charlotte who was kneading some pastry to make some pie stopped what she was doing to stare at her daughter. She vividly remembered telling her that they would leave next week but yet, she still asked her which she found odd.
"Next week love." Charlotte smiled.
It was a Saturday, so there was no school. Since Charlotte had a break from work, she decided to get her hands dirty on some pastry work and since pie was the first thing that came to her mind, she decided to make that.
"Okay." Ariana simply said.
Charlotte stared at her daughter with a look of confusion on her face as she tried to understand why her daughter had asked that question.
"Why did you ask love? Is there something wrong?" Charlotte asked.
"Oh nothing Mom, I just wanted to know." Ariana said, vaguely.
"Okay." Charlotte chuckled.
