I don't know how long Rian had been in a dream. Either because of fainting or even sleeping. However, the man's eyes finally seemed to blink. He slowly sat up while holding his head which was still feeling dizzy.
"Shhh…. My head hurts. You bastard David! How can he make me sick like this," grumbled Rian really annoyed at the best friend of the girl he loved.
Rian looked around, but did not see Livia's figure. I don't know where the girl is at this time, even though her throat is dry and needs water.
"Livia!" Rian shouted in a voice that was still weak.
Silence!
No sound answered. That made Rian quite annoyed. Because when needed the girl just disappeared.
"Useless base! If only I wasn't afraid of you complaining to my family about the pregnancy, I would definitely kick you into the street," Rian grumbled, really on the verge of patience.
The man immediately got up, then with difficulty dragged his steps towards the kitchen. Even though he was very lazy, but there was no way that Rian had to hold his thirst until Livia showed the bridge of her nose.
Arriving in the kitchen, Rian immediately took a glass and filled it with water. The cool feeling that greeted his throat, made the thirst he felt disappear instantly.
However, because of the dizziness that Rian felt again whacked. The man accidentally dropped the glass in his hand.
Prang!
"Oh my gosh, Rian! What are you doing?"
Livia's voice immediately made Rian turn his head. The look of annoyance was clearly visible on his face.
"What are you doing? I want to drink, but you, I'm calling you aren't there," Rian grumbled annoyed.
Livia immediately approached Rian and helped the man to sit on a chair.
"I just took a shower, Rian. Maybe when you called me I was still in the bathroom, so I didn't hear. Are you still dizzy?" Livia asked trying to speak softly so as not to make the voice even more cloudy.
"Yes, my head hurts," Rian complained while holding his head.
"Alright, let's go to the room so I can massage your head," said Livia.
Rian nodded his head, agreeing to the woman's invitation. Carefully, Livia led Rian into their room and helped the man sleep on the bed.
"Do you want to change first or not?" Livia asked, afraid that Rian wouldn't be comfortable sleeping in dirty clothes.
Ryan nodded his head again. Livia hastily helped the man to change clothes.
After changing clothes, Livia gently massaged Rian's head, hoping that the man's pain would lessen a bit.
"Should you just drink, Rian?" asked Livia who was afraid that Rian's illness would get worse.
"No need. You massage too, it will heal on its own," Rian refused because he was really anti-drugs. Unless his condition was already very serious..
"Yes, it's okay. Erm, I already cooked for you. Do you want to eat now?" Livia offered again.
"Just a moment. I don't want to," said Rian again.
Livia could only sigh at Rian's behavior. Indeed, if he was with Rian, he had to stock up more patience.
Moreover, since his and Almira's marriage was cancelled, Rian has become increasingly grumpy. Livia tried to understand because maybe it was the effect of Rian's heartbreak.
Five years is not a short time for Rian to convince Almira. However, in the end it was Daffa—the older sister, who got it.
This must be a crushing blow for Rian. It is not easy for the man to accept everything.
Livia only hopes that Rian will soon move on from Almira, and try to start a new life with her and their baby.
"Emmm, Rian. The doctor said one more week we have to go back to check on Baby. Do you want to come with me?" Livia asked which was actually a code for Rian to accompany him.
"What are you doing? Isn't it the pregnant woman who underwent the examination, not the father?" Rian asked back in a curt voice.
"Indeed, but there you can see how your baby is developing in my tummy. You can also hear his heartbeat, Rian," said Livia with a smile.
"Is there anything special about that? I think it's just a waste of time," said Rian really as if he didn't care about the baby in Livia's womb.
"You've never tried it, so you don't know how it feels. Well, so that I know later you will come with me, okay? Baby will be happy if his father comes to visit him," Livia coaxed hopefully.
"Huft, well I will accompany you. Oh, Liv, looks like I have to go back home. There's no way I can go on like this. I had to go back to the company so I could get the money. Don't we really need money for our needs and the baby? So I decided, that tomorrow I will return home. But for a while I can't bring or even talk about you to my parents. Because my departure from the wedding would have made them very angry, especially if they knew the reason for my departure. I hope you understand. I promise to slowly talk to them. Erm, at least give me one month's time," said Rian expressing his desire to return to his parents' big house.
It's been a week since Rian has been hiding from his family. It was time for him to return and find a way to approach Almira again.
Of course, the one month time was just Rian's trick. Because he really had no intention of talking to his parents about Livia.
"All right, Ryan. I understand. I'll wait until you pick us up. But please don't ignore me, okay. Moreover, you know yourself, sometimes I can suddenly want something," Livia asked, which was actually hard when she had to live separately with Rian.
"Of course, I couldn't possibly ignore you and that kid. Just take it easy and don't think anything weird. If you want something, just say so. Then I will immediately grant it," said Rian with full sincerity.
"Thank you, Rian. I trust you. One month is not a long time. I will wait for that day. Hopefully, both of your parents can accept me before a month, yes, Rian. I'm actually heavy if I have to part with you," Livia said with a heavy sigh, a sign that she really objected to being separated from Rian for too long.
"You help me with prayer alone. There I will fight to convince them. It's not that I don't want to live here with you, but we need money to support our lives," said Rian trying to convince Livia.
"Yes, I know, that's why I won't stop you. I hope your parents don't add any more raw bombs, Rian. They still want to make you more bruised than this," said Livia while stroking Rian's face which was full of bruises.
Hearing Livia's words, Rian immediately snorted in annoyance. But what the woman said had some truth in it. Hopefully his parents will feel sorry for him and will not add to the list of bruises he has again.
